I’d once been afraid of a man. His name was Reign Storm and he was my father.

But there was one emotion stronger than fear and it was hate. I’d hated him to the point that that was all I could feel anytime I saw him.

The man standing before me wasn’t the same man I once feared. No he looked smaller… weaker.

The lake house used to be his spot. The place he came to when he didn’t want the eyes of the pack watching.

The pack had loved my mother and he knew that, so when he met with other women, he brought them here—to the Lake House.

Now the building was old and covered in dust, just like every memory I had of him.

My father looked thinner than I remember, his grey hair more significant, the lines on his face more visible.

“Reign Storm, I can’t say it’s good to see you again.”

“Always so honest my boy. It’s been a long time—hasn’t it?”

Yes. The last time I saw him was when I’d defeated him and claimed the pack, banishing him from his own pack forever.

“What do you want?” I questioned.
