Chapter 1

Author: Green Bean Rice
On my wedding day, my groom's sister, Nadia Lawson, who had grown up being spoiled by him and their parents, stormed onto the stage. Flanking her on each side were two blond men who claimed to be her bodyguards.

Right there and then, she wanted to tear off my wedding dress while shrieking, "You shameless wretch! I have my eye on this dress. Take it off and hand it over to me now!"

By the time I got over my shock and wanted to get away, the two blond men had already pinned me to the ground and pulled the zipper on the back of the dress halfway down.

I screamed in terror and looked to my to-be husband, Bowen Lawson, for help.

However, the sight that greeted me was him patting Nadia's head dotingly and saying, "Please stop messing around, my dear princess. Let Lauren and me complete the ceremony first. She'll take off the dress and give it to you later, okay?"

My wedding ended abruptly due to my passing out from anger. When I woke up, I was already on the plane headed for the honeymoon.

Nadia insisted on coming along and ordered me, who had a fear of heights, to skydive with her. But right before the jump, she deliberately unfastened my harness. And so, I fell into a valley to my death.

After Bowen returned from our honeymoon, he inherited my massive insurance payout and publicly listed company. He used my inheritance to turn Nadia into a real heiress. She spent my money freely and hired numerous male escorts to keep her company.

When I opened my eyes again, I found that I had gone back in time to the day of my wedding.

I had been reborn on the day I married Bowen.

The emcee said, "The groom may now kiss the bride."

Just then, the heavy entrance doors to the hall were suddenly pushed open.

A sharp, coquettish shout rang out, "The princess is here. Why aren't you greeting me as you should?"

Immediately after, someone wearing a pink ball gown with an exaggerated design of multiple tulle layers sewn together to resemble flower petals glided in from the other end of the red carpet.

It was Nadia.

Under the gaze of all the guests, she walked onto the stage like a proud swan. After scanning the crowd, her eyes landed on me.

She pointed at my wedding dress and said, "The dress you're wearing is not bad. Are you going to take it off yourself, or do you want me to rip it off for you?"

Of course, my expression soured at this impudent request, and I turned to look at Bowen.

Bowen, who was standing right beside me, indulgently played along with Nadia's pompous act.

He said to me, "You know that's just how Nad is. You're her sister-in-law now. Give in to her and let her have her way."

In my past life, I had passed out from anger due to Bowen siding with Nadia. In the end, the two of them conspired together and caused my death.

In this life, I could not go through with this wedding. On top of that, I didn't intend to let Bowen or Nadia off either.

When I didn't speak, Nadia waved her hand. Right away, a group of bodyguards surrounded me.

Standing in their midst, she pointed at me bossily and said, "Take it off right now!"

In my past life, I had been generally satisfied with Bowen when I dated him. He occasionally mentioned that Nadia was a bit spoiled and asked me to tolerate her.

I figured it couldn't be that bad, so I smiled and agreed readily.

I didn't think much of it until Bowen drove me home one time. I had found a pair of pink lace panties wedged in the seat of his car.

Infuriated, I threw the panties in his face and questioned coldly, "Where did these come from?"

He glanced at them and laughed. "Oh, that? I bought them for Nad. I'm her personal bodyguard and butler."

I scoffed in exasperation. "Do you think I'm an idiot?"

"I'm not lying. Nad had her period and accidentally stained her underwear. No one else was home, so I bought these at the mall and was about to take them to her," Bowen explained.

He was afraid I wouldn't believe him, so he even handed me his phone.

I scrolled through their chat history and finally believed him. Still, their suggestive, flirty messages didn't seem like those normal siblings shared.

So, I gently reminded him, "Nadia isn't a young girl anymore. She's a grown woman. You guys should be more mindful of boundaries."

Nadia had already admitted during a previous stream that she was adopted by the Lawsons. But even when things had escalated to this stage, the Lawsons still hadn't agreed to let her marry Bowen.Could they still be hoping to patch things up with my family? I frowned at the thought of that. The barrage of comments seemed to hit a nerve with Nadia. She suddenly gazed at the screen with fake tenderness and said, "Bowie, I know you're watching my stream. I've liked you a lot since I was a child. That affection has developed into romantic feelings a woman might harbor for a man."I know you love me too. Since we're not related by blood, will you be with me? If you're willing, push the door open and come in, okay?"She was confessing her feelings live in the stream.I blinked in surprise. Not long after, the door opened, and Bowen appeared on camera. The two embraced and looked at each other with deep affection. The comments came pouring in like a torrent.Just then, a furious shou

The Lawsons had clearly condoned Nadia's actions, using them as a tool to force me and my parents into a compromise. They were utterly shameless to the point of making me feel nauseated.I frowned in disgust and said, "I can drop the lawsuit, but I want a handwritten apology from her, admitting everything she did."Bowen agreed without hesitation.I added, "I want her to hold her ID while writing it. She needs to film the entire process and recite it aloud three times."Nadia was furious. "Why, you…""Fine! We agree!" Bowen rushed to respond without giving Nadia a chance to object. Then, he walked over to me and pulled out a familiar diamond ring. With eyes full of fake affection, he looked at me and begged in a low voice, "Lauren, I'm very sorry. Everything that happened was my fault. I promise I'll never do it again. You were willing to forgive Nad. Can you forgive me too?"At that moment, I found him so ridiculous that I could scarcely believe it. How shameless of him. What

Compared to the vague and unverified timeline Nadia posted, I held in my hands a complete, accurate timeline of my relationship with Bowen. The moment my video was released, it caused a massive uproar."Wait up. Nadia's the lunatic here!""They were having a normal wedding, and she came barging in screaming, 'the princess has arrived.' Does she seriously think she's a princess?""My goodness! I feel like punching someone just from watching this.""Isn't this woman the one who was said to be a mistress? So she was the real fiancee and Nadia was the mistress? And who displays private photos at a wedding?"Public opinion flipped overnight. Now, Nadia was facing the backlash, and her social media account bore the brunt of the merciless accusations from the people on the internet."You proudly displayed your brother and sister-in-law's private photos at their wedding. Really?""You seem to be awfully proud of screwing your own brother.""So, you came online asking for advice? Try

I was shaking with rage at Nadia's shamelessness. I thought that with her antics at the wedding, she had already stooped to the lowest level possible. I never expected she could stoop even lower. This wasn't just an act of provocation. She was taking my family and me for fools who wouldn't fight back. Why did she think she could pull off something like this? Had the Lawsons spoiled her too much that she thought she could get away with anything? In the comments section under Nadia's video, there were endless waves of insults and attacks directed at me."How disgusting! She knew he had a girlfriend and still went for it. She's even proud of it.""Help! How can people like this exist? She scammed him out of his money and even stole his house.""That shot of the two elderly parents pleading with the security guard really had me tearing up.""Homewrecking mistresses are unforgivable.""Everyone, I'm going to dig up everything on this woman. Tell me I'm doing the right thing.""Peopl

After stewing over it for half a month, that was the pathetic excuse Bowen came up with. He blamed everything on alcohol but ignored a crucial fact. A man could hardly get aroused if he were absolutely wasted."You make me sick, Bowen Lawson," I spat, rolling my eyes at him.I didn't bother wasting another word with him. I simply turned and walked into my neighborhood. With a guilty look on his face, Bowen followed me in anxiously while explaining, "Lauren, I'm telling the truth. I've already drawn a clear line with Nad. We'll move out and never have any contact with her again, okay? Give me another chance…"Before he could finish his sentence, a couple of burly security guards stepped in and blocked him.Annoyed, he snapped, "Why are you stopping me?"A security guard answered, "Sir, you're not a resident here. If you try to force your way in again, I'll call the police."Bowen was instantly at a loss for words and could only call after me in frustration from the entrance.I d

Backstage, Nadia's hand jolted, and the next photo appeared on the screen.I looked up to see that the ones featured in the photo were Bowen and Nadia. It showed Nadia holding Bowen's manhood, while he had a tender and contented look on his face.Pin-drop silence descended upon the entire hall.I received all sorts of stares. Some were sympathetic, some were mocking, and some people wore looks of amusement at the dramatic turn."Turn it off! Turn it off now!" Bowen screamed.Everyone could hear the panic and hysteria in his voice. He stumbled off the stage, tripping and lurching toward the backstage area. In his panic, he didn't notice the steps. So, he twisted his ankle and fell straight down, rolling all the way down the stairs. The staff who were backstage finally snapped out of their daze. They fumbled in panic to shut off the screen. The giant screen went black in an instant. I became even more of a joke standing in front of the dark screen alone.Dad had specially arrange
