The instant her husband said he was going to take a shower, Charlie already knew why he looked so eager to get in the shower. And she already knew that she would spy on him again. That simple. It would be his reward for his impeccable performance that day. He had even tried to cover it up, but her trick with the icing on the cake and her choice of costume change had been a masterstroke, not giving him any chance to even try to recover.
