Chapter 87

Georgina paused as her words replayed in her head. "Lindsey, it's not what you think?" Georgina said trying to calm Lindsey down but unfortunately for her, it was too late already. 

"What do I think? How could you be this cruel? You knew about Leen's disappearance and you didn't say anything all this while, you kept quiet pretending as if you knew nothing even when I asked you, you said you knew nothing," Lindsey said as tears rolled from her eyes. She just couldn't believe it, Leen has been her friend for a very long time, she has stood by her all these years and just like that, Georgina destroyed their friendship. 

"I did that for a reason,"

"What sort of useless reason huh?" Lindsey yelled angrily. Her voice was at the highest pitch and she didn't care if people outside the office could hear her. Georgina just went to the extreme, destroying her friendship with Leen was just the height of it all and she wasn't going to take it at all.
