My wolf, which had never reacted to me after Leo's death, suddenly groaned inside of me. I could not believe it.

My hand tightened on the tablecloth under the table, and I bit my bottom lip, trying hard not to groan loudly. Listening to the conversations that were taking place at the table among the members of the family, I made an effort to divert my attention away from my wolf.

"Violet, what do you think about calling your parents for a family dinner the following weekend? I heard your brother is coming back," Grandma Lily said.

I looked at her with a perplexed expression. "Zion is coming back?"

I was not aware of it. After Leo's death, my parents sent my brother, Zion, and my sister, Aria, outside the pack. Everything was done to ensure their safety. Given that I was the Luna of the pack, the rivals' next targets could be family members.

"Yeah, Mom is right. I talked to Ruby today. She said, Zion wants to come back," Clara said, giving me an assuring nod.
