Alana's POV

I was on my way to the airport to another city. Ryan made a call, telling me he needed me around for work. At least finally I would get to do something.

Three weeks had passed since Alana's issue at the hospital and like two days ago, Ryan came home and said he was going on a business trip that he couldn't escape.

He sounded so pissed and angry, we all walked on egg shells around him. He didn't even call for me that night.

Next morning, before we even woke up, he had packed up and left. His mood swings were clearly worse than a pregnant woman. It was crazy.

This morning, he told me to pack up just essentials and come to the airport, my flight and everything had already been booked. I didn't hate the idea, so I went to tell Amanda immediately that I was leaving her for a couple of days. She didn't seem to mind it at all and Ryan promised good security, so I didn't need to worry. The last issue was clearly an accident but she promised to do better this time around.
