Seeing that Anka had made up his mind to choose me as the future Luna, Liam became even more reluctant to accept it.

"Once Camilla finishes brewing her healing potion, the wolfsbane toxin inside me will disappear on its own! Please don't let Evelyn fool you!"

I chuckled and turned to face Anka.

"To be fair, my abilities aren't infallible either.

"Rather than gambling the future of the Silver Moon Pack on me alone, you'd be better off finding another capable witch as soon as possible."

Anka sighed softly.

"But healing potions are simply too risky–"

"I ask that you trust Camilla. She'll definitely cure my wolfsbane poisoning," Liam said without hesitation.

I gently swirled the cup in my hand. I was ready to see them out.

Right then, a gentle-looking shewolf hurried inside with a wooden box.

The moment she saw Anka, she visibly stiffened.

Anka gave her a slight nod.

Only then did she place the box before me. Her hands trembled as she clasped mine, and her eyes were already filled with tears.

"Evelyn, I'm Stella Hill. Could you please remove the toxin from my son? If you can save him, I'll give you every treasure I own!"

My maid softly reminded her, "Evelyn has never failed. There isn't any poisoning she can't cure."

"That's enough," I interrupted softly.

Only then did Stella seem to realize what she had said. Fighting back tears, she pleaded, "Evelyn, you're the only one who can save Nolan!

"If you don't wish to become Liam's mate, could you consider Nolan instead?"

Only then did I learn that Liam had a cousin, Nolan.

Liam was the only grandson left by Anka's eldest son, and every werewolf in Silver Moon Pack acknowledged him as the future Alpha.

Nolan, meanwhile, was the only son of Anka's second son. Since his mother, Stella, came from an ordinary family, he had always been overlooked within the pack.

The two pups had been born only a few hours apart, and both had been poisoned with wolfsbane.

In other words, once the wolfsbane fully erupted, the Silver Moon Pack would lose both of its Alpha heirs at the same time.

I set the wooden box aside.

"Stella, Alpha Anka has just offered me the Moon Goddess Relic and the position of chief witch in hopes that I'll become Liam's mate.

"And now you've come with generous gifts, hoping I'll choose Nolan instead. Why don't the two of you settle the matter first and then come back to me?"

With that, I set down my cup.

"I'm tired. Please see our guests out."

The agony of having my heart pierced by Liam's dagger in my previous life still haunted me.

In this life, whether it was Liam or Nolan, I wanted nothing more to do with the Silver Moon Pack.
