Anka gestured for one of the elders to bring over an exquisitely carved wooden box.

"Liam's emotions have become unstable because of the wolfsbane poisoning. Please forgive his outburst, Evelyn.

"The entire pack knows of your extraordinary healing abilities. No poisoning has ever defeated you. You are our only hope.

"Inside this box is the Moon Goddess Relic, a sincere offering from Silver Moon Pack. Once you become Liam's mate, you will be appointed as the pack's chief witch. As our Luna, you will also stand beside Liam and lead the entire pack together."

I could indeed purge the wolfsbane toxin from Liam's body, but in this life, I refused to save him.
