Chapter 7 I'm tired of being strong

I was exhausted from the training and my talk with Elena, I lay down on my bed and fell asleep, but my dreams took me to remember what I had gone through 4 years ago.

Flashback 4 years ago.

I had woken up early, like every morning. Before going to my training, I used to run to the lake on my wolf Kayla, she loves to feel the air on her fur, and I love the quietness of being in the lake and meditate.

When I was in the lake, I decided to swim and went back to my human form. As I was floating, I felt a sight that gave me chills, swam to the shore, and when I was about to take my clothes, I saw him.

Julius, the alpha Benson's son, was standing in front of me, looking at me from head to toe in a lustful way, my nakedness which was something natural to me. He was turning it into something sexual didn't like the way he was staring at me.

But I wasn't going to let him see me in fear, and I carried myself firmly in front of him.

"What are you doing here? You can't be in our territory without permission from my alpha," I told him firmly.

"And I won't be for long. I only came for you to take you to my pack and for you to be my mate," he said, smiling in a way that scared me.

"You are crazy if you think that I will accept that madness, and my father would never allow it," I said, shouting at him determinedly.

 "my answer to your proposal is and will always remain a firm no, Julius."

"I will wait for my mate, and neither you nor anyone else will make me change my decision."

"By the time your mate comes into your life, you will already be mine," Julius said as he took a step closer to me.

"Get away from me, don't you dare touch me," I said, yelling at him and taking a step backward to stop him from touching me.

"There is no one around Aly, we are alone, and no one is going to stop me from taking what is mine."

"I am not yours, and I never will be," I told him, stating that I would never give myself to him.

"We'll see about that," Julius said. Before he finished saying those words, he lunged at me, throwing me to the ground, he began to touch me, and I could feel his hands roaming my body.

I tried to fight, but he was stronger, and fear took over me; I screamed with all my strength, but when I felt his canines on my neck and was about to mark me as his.

When my brother Ivan arrived and grabbed Julius, he threw him against a tree, helped me up, and pushed me behind him to protect me.

"Don't you dare to come one more step closer, or I swear I will kill you," Ivan said forcefully using his beta voice, which I had never heard him use before.

"I am a future alpha. You think you can command me, think again," said Julius, about to launch himself at my brother.

 Then my father appeared accompanied by our alpha Benson.

"Julius, I hope you have a good excuse to justify your presence in my territory without my permission," said alpha Benson, looking at him and in his commanding voice.

"I don't need an excuse to see my mate," said Julius.

"I made it very clear that I didn't want to see you and your father near my daughter," said my father, furious, seeing the state I was in.

My brother covered me with a shirt and hugged me protectively, not letting Julius near me.

"We have signed an agreement with your father, and you are breaking that treaty," said our alpha.

 "you should consider what your father stands to lose if I decide you are an enemy to my pack."

"My father agreed. I never consented to that decision. I made my intentions with Alania crystal clear."

"And I made it very clear to you that I will never be your mate. I would die first," I told him firmly, now that I felt protected by my family.

"You heard her. Your presence is not welcome in my pack, don't make me take you out with my own hands and spare your father one more embarrassment," said Alpha Dante.

"When my father dies, I will take the place that is rightfully mine,” said Julius.

“  when that day comes, Alania you will be my Luna, and no one is going to stop me from claiming what is mine," said Julius as he walked away.

"Allen, we can't wait any longer. She has to leave right now," said my alpha.

"Go where. What are you talking about, daddy" I said, looking at my father, waiting for an answer.

"If you stay here, you would be in danger, you are still too young to understand how things work, and I must protect you. You will be under the protection of your uncle Iker, and he is already waiting for you in his pack."

"I don't want to leave, and I don't want to be separated from you and Ivan, daddy please," I said with tears in my eyes.

"We don't want you to leave either, Aly, but it's for the best," Ivan said.

"When will I come home ?" I asked him.

"You will be with your uncle until you turn 18 when you are old enough to find your mate and be stronger".

"Papa, don't do this to me, please," I said, crying.

"You have to be strong, Alania. You have to be the woman I hope you will be; this is no time to cry, you are my daughter, and I raised you better than that; you will do as I command and not one more word," my father said firmly.

"Yes, father," I replied, lowering my head bowing my head in respect.

Flash Back Ends

I woke up sweating and screaming, scared after remembering in my dreams what had happened four years ago; I sat up in my bed and tried to catch my breath.

I closed my eyes and tried to relax.

 "I'm not 14 anymore, and I'm much stronger than I was then. Julius can't hurt me now, and if he tried, I wouldn't hesitate to rip his head off in a second," I thought, determined not to be intimidated by that dream.

I took a bath and changed my clothes. I decided to hang out and distract myself in the common room; on my way down, I met Ivan and Sebastian, who was playing pool in the playroom area.

"Where have you been? Lexie, I've been looking for you," Ivan commented to me.

"You look kind of tired; there's something wrong with you, Aly," Sebastian said, staring at me.

"I was in my room. I was feeling a little tired, and I fell asleep," I replied, "but I would have preferred not to have done it."

"You're not too big to have had nightmares," said Ivan laughing.

"Sometimes nightmares are just memories of the past, that sometimes you wish you hadn't lived," I said while my brother stared at me with a severe look on his face. He knew perfectly well what I was talking about.

"You still have those nightmares," Ivan said.

"Not anymore, but this is the first time I have them again," I told him seriously, trying to show a fake smile.

" I feel out of place. What are you talking about? I don't know the subject," Sebastian said.

" nothing important that you need to know. It's a family matter," said Ivan looking at Sebastian.

Sebastian looked at me, and Ivan walked towards me, taking my arm and leading me out of the playroom, "Are you ok? You want to talk".

"No, I just need to distract myself; I think I'll go for a run on my wolf, I haven't let her out in a long time, and she's quite anxious."

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me; I'm not a little girl anymore, remember," I said, smiling at him.

"To me, you will always be my little sister who needs my protection," he said as he gave me a kiss on my forehead.

I transformed into my wolf and ran into the forest, letting the wind cover my fur; I needed to feel free; I needed it more than ever.

That dream awoke in me that fear that I thought I would never feel again, and I refused to be a victim.

 I got to the lake and returned to my human form.

I took one of the many shirts we left in the trees and sat down on the lake's shore.

 I didn't realize when tears started to fall on my face, and I began to cry inconsolably, tired of being Aly, the strong one that nothing can tear her apart.

For a moment, I felt like I was that young girl from 4 years ago when suddenly a hand began to caress my cheek and wipe away my tears.

"I Can't see you cry; it breaks my soul to see you like this," Hansen said, as he slowly approached me, and it was in that instant that I lost control and threw myself into his arms, letting him hug me.

I needed to feel protected, and only him, my mate, could do that, Hansen breathed into my hair and placed his hands on the sides of my face, and his lips touched mine.

I felt alive when my body brushed his. He carefully laid me down on the ground, letting my back go down slowly. He started to kiss me, and I wanted to get lost in his touch.

My body screamed for him, for the need to have him close, and I couldn't do it.

He began to kiss me, and his hands ran over my body. Every detail of my skin cried out to be touched by him.

His lips were marking the way to my neck, and he was leaving small kisses in the place where his mark would be.

I couldn't think clearly, and I just had no way to avoid this feeling and this desire for him anymore.

 He is my mate, and he has the right to know it. This was what we both wanted, and I was ready to give him my whole being at this moment.
