I glance across the pond at the couples along the other side of the shore. The guys are snuggling up close to their girl, while the girls smile and nestle into their boyfriend’s side.
Can I ever have something like that?
David’s smirk and wink from last night comes rushing back to me as my heartbeat quickens and my stomach flutters. The playfulness in his eyes had me moaning and begging for more after everyone left.
I lick my lips as my body remembers the feel of him pressed against me and his hungry lips devouring every part of me.
I need to stop thinking about him.
I shift on the ground as I scan along the shore.
