Chapter 5

"Umm...Nicholas! If you dont mind, can we have lunch together?" Olivia asked Nicholas nervously pretending to be shy in front of him.

Nicholas have realised that it was a trap to set him with Olivia, however he didn't want the relationship between Price and Bell family turn sour because of his disliking for Olivia. So he agreed unwillingly as he said," Only if Andrew joins us."

Olivia's face fell after hearing Nicholas's words and it didn't escape Andrew's eyes. He didn't want to be third wheel between them as well. So he immediately excused himself saying,"I have an important meeting with clients from Australia after one hour. So I can't accompany you guys."

"If that's the case, I would also like to meet the foreign clients because I have decided to join our company from today only."Nicholas said to his brother and then he turned towards Olivia as he added,"I am sorry Olivia, maybe we can lunch together any other day."

Olivia was on the verge of crying as she pleaded Andrew silently with her eyes to come along with them. She didn't want to miss the chance to be with Nicholas even if she has to bear the presence of a third person. She had fallen in love at first sight with Nicholas and she had decided to marry only him then and there.

"No, I think we can have lunch first and I will ask my assistant to postpone the meeting for some time." Andrew said feeling troubled and helpless because of Nicholas's insistence.

Nicholas smiled and said with a smirk plastered on his face, "Let's go to 'Savour Foods'. The food there is best in the whole world. It will be a treat from my side." After saying this, he walked forward while Andrew and Olivia followed him with unhappy expressions on their faces.

Both Andrew and Olivia Andrew felt strange to see the sudden change in Nicholas's behaviour. Andrew didn't remember when he saw this cheerful and mischievous side of his brother last time.

As soon as they exited the City Centre, Andrew said hurriedly to Nicholas, " I need to buy something on the way so guys can leave first. I will be there after some time as well. I will ask the Chauffeur to drive Olivia's car to Bell Corporations." Andrew said as he tried to escape once again.

"No need, bro. It's not a good idea to make a lady wait so it's better if we all go together by your car. I will come here again to pickup my car after having lunch." Nicholas immediately dismissed Andrew's suggession giving a 'logical' excuse.

This made Andrew so angry that he had a strong urge to give a punch in face to Nicholas. He gritted his teeth and said while trying his best to control his temper " Fine. We'll go together by one car."

Andrew gestured the chauffeur to start the car and sat beside him in co-pilot seat. Nicholas opened the door of back seat for Olivia which made her very excited and said shyly," Thanks."

You don't need to thank me. It's what a gentleman should do for a lady."Nicholas said as a matter of fact and walked towards the other side.

The chauffeur started the car and Nicholas began to talk with Andrew about the changed occured in the city in the last few years. He occassionally talked with Olivia but he could clearly feel that both Andrew and Olivia kept their mouth shut for most of the time.

He knew that they were not happy with his arrangments. But he couldn't give false hopes to Olivia. He could only treat her as a friend so it was only right for him to maintain a distance with her so that her feelings are not hurt later.

After a while, the car stopped in front of 'Savour Food' restaurant and the three of them entered the restaurant. Olivia came here for the first time so she looked at her surroundings very carefully. She had realised that Nicholas had a special liking for this restaurant, so she decided to visit here more frequently in the future.

"So what would you like to have?" Nicholas asked Andrew and Olivia after they took seats in front of the window.

"Anything you like, Nicholas." Olivia replied sweetly as she began to feel good with the light music in the background and the fresh air coming from outside.

"I don't know what you likes and what not. Moreover, this lunch is a treat from my side. So I want you to order what you like." Nicholas said without any expression on his face and picked up the menu card on the table to make order for himself.

Olivia glanced at Andrew who had been listening to their conversation without saying any word while surfing through his phone. She couldn't believe that there was a man who was not swayed by her charms and looks.

She couldn't give up so easily so she made a simple order for her and Nicholas and Andrew just ordered black coffee with cheese sandwich for themselves.

They had their lunch quickly and after Nicholas paid the bill, they came outside of the restaurant.

Nicholas said to Chauffeur," Drop me at the city centre first. And then you can drop them at their respective companies."

Andrew didn't make any objection this time and they sat in the car in the same way they came here.

Olivia felt bad seeing the indifferent attitude of Nicholas towards her. She had specifically asked Amyra to arrange a meeting with Nicholas so that she can spend some quality time with him to get along with each other.

But Nicholas had clearly indicated that he didn't have any romantic feelings towards her. Even thought he didn't do anything to humiliate her, yet her self esteem was hurt with his indifference.

Earlier she had confidence to win his heart, but now she began to doubt her ability to do so. However, she couldn't deny that he was the most suitable match for him in the city in the terms of the standard and looks, so she will go to any length to make him hers.

While Olivia was lost in her thoughts, Nicholas was desperately waiting to reach home so that he could investigate how Eliza became the owner of Davis Corporations.

He didn't want to do it in Olivia and Andrew's presence because he didn't want anyone to know about his love for Eliza until he get all the information about her.
