Chapter 65

The bright light of the new day came through the window. The room turned bright and soft.

My eyes slowly opened, and my gaze drew outside the window. A smile appeared on my face as I yawned.

I stretched a little while looking at the pretty morning outside.

However, I heard a small noise, which made me move my eyes from the window. Bella's bed was empty beside the window.

I immediately turned my head and looked around the room.

My eyes drew on Kevin. He was putting on his boots near the door.

"Good morning," he uttered without looking at me.

I blinked my eyes a few times and remembered he stayed overnight in my room.

"Morning," I mumbled, sitting up.

The blanket moved from my body. I glanced at the blanket. I could not remember covering myself with a blanket before falling asleep.

I was confused as I returned my gaze to Kevin.

He was done wearing his boots, so his turned head to me. My gaze shifted to his hand. He was holding his shirt, hanging it on his shoulder.
