DARIEN

The air was filled with the stench of burning flesh and the metallic scent of blood. I staked the bodies so high and burned them. I burned them on neutral grounds between my pack border and that coward, Mike’s pack. I deliberately chose that place to send a message to the rogues. I was daring them to send more men, and I was going to do the same to them as well.

My beta and I with three other warriors sat there drinking as if we were enjoying a bonfire. It had been a while since we got into a fight like that and it was exhilarating! It left me wanting more. Who the hell did they think they were to attack my pack, my home where the woman I loved, and my son lived.
