"WHY are you dressed like that?" I asked my friend. She’s sitting pretty in a chair near the entrance door of Lover’s Café.

"I've been waiting for you for a while," Kim said, her eyebrow raised. Her attention was on the cellphone she was holding.

"I woke up late," I replied. "Wait a minute, why are you in a gym suit?"

She lifted her head after putting on the headband and smiled at me.

"We're going to the gym to work out. I feel like I gained weight after a few days in the province. Ops–I don't intend to hurt your feelings."
