Third-Person Point of View

"Riley..." Eash stared into Riley's face as if searching for words he couldn't find.

"Why didn't you come to me, Eash?" Riley asked gently but insistently.

"I… I…” Each struggled to respond, still lost, searching for the right words but unable to find them.

"Don't lie to me again," Riley said calmly, her eyes fixed on his. "I want an honest answer."

Eash looked down, voice trembling. "Riley… I… I love you," he said, finally meeting her eyes and speaking sincerely.

At last, the words Riley had been waiting to hear for so long escaped his lips. She should have been ecstatic—after all, how many times had she imagined him saying that? Yet, surprisingly, instead of feeling joy, she only felt a strange mixture of confusion and numbness.

"I love you so much… I want to be near you all the time, to have you only for myself. I can't bear the thought of seeing you with any other man… I've never felt this possessive about anyone in my life," Eash admitted, voice thick w

Third-Person Point of View"You trust me?" Eash asked as if he couldn't even believe what he heard. His eyes were filled with surprise and hope."Yes... But this will be the last time I trust you... If you break my trust again, I don't even want to see you again, Eash..." Riley understood that there was no way for Eash to prove his words except by bringing those girls to speak the truth. But what then? Those girls would definitely say they didn't have sex with Eash, even if they really had, because who would dare to go against this mighty alpha openly? They can brag about anything, any lie secretly, but to Eash's face, none of them would dare to do that. So, what's the point of doing that?Riley honestly couldn't trust Eash completely on what he said. But after listening to his explanation, she trusted him more than she did before. There won't be a man in this world who has never made any mistakes. So, she was ready to give him a chance... "There won't be another day like that... I p

Third-Person Point of View"What?" Eash asked, bewildered."You asked me if Ezra told me about these. But actually, Ezra didn't tell me anything. I learned this from somewhere else. It was those girls you had fun with who shared all the details about your nights together. How good you made them feel!""Those girls said so? But I honestly didn't have sex with them; I didn't even touch them... They just helped me with their hands or mouths, that's all..." Eash replied, scratching his head."I even saw a photo of you with one of them.""You saw a photo? What kind of a photo?" Eash's eyes widened with surprise."I saw you without your shirt on and was about to take off your fu**ing trousers, too! That girl was there half-naked beside you..." Riley's mind, which was calmed for a moment, began to fill with anger once again. Yes, he confessed his feelings to Riley; he poured out his heart. But whatever the good reason he had, when thinking about how he got intimate with those girls and hid

  • I Have Two Wolves and Three Mates   78. Then why didn't you come to me?

Third-Person Point of View"What do you have to say about all the other times you f***ed other girls and lied to me?" Riley's voice trembled with fury and pain."Wasn't it Ezra who told you all this?" Eash asked, his voice broken and filled with heartbreak.Riley couldn't believe he was asking such a question now. Does it really matter who told her? Shouldn't he be focusing on why he lied and what he did instead?"Does that even matter?" Riley shot back, eyes blazing with anger."It does matter," Eash replied softly, voice shaky. "Because he's been lying to you… He hadn't told you the truth exactly...""You admit you went to those girls that night," Riley snapped, voice trembling. "So, how can you deny it now?" She wanted nothing more than to storm out and leave him speechless, to run from the unbearable truth he was trying to hide."I… I did go to those girls," Eash admitted, looking into her eyes with remorse. "But believe me... I didn't have sex with them…""Really? Then what?" Ril

  • I Have Two Wolves and Three Mates   77. It actually meant nothing…

Third-Person Point of ViewKimberley and Riley exchanged tense glances. Their suspicions had been confirmed; it was indeed Eash. Although they had initially suspected it, hearing his voice for real rendered them momentarily speechless."Kimberley… please open the door," Eash's voice called again, desperate and trembling. When there was no response, he added, "Please."Riley hesitated, then gently nodded at Kimberley. She nodded back, giving her a reassuring pat on the shoulder. Kimberley reached out and slowly pushed the door handle. As soon as Kimberley hesitated to open it fully, Eash pressed his hand against the door, preventing it from closing. His gesture was unmistakable; he was terrified that Kimberley and Riley would insist he leave before he could speak. The look in his eyes revealed an anxiety far beyond what Kimberley had seen before, an almost fragile vulnerability.Kimberley's shoulders sagged in resignation, and she let out a deep sigh, her gaze softening as she looked a

Third-Person Point of View"No, Ezra. Everything's okay," Riley hurriedly replied, her voice trembling as she feared the two brothers might clash once again.Ezra cast a suspicious look at Eash before gently taking Riley's hand. His touch was firm but reassuring."It's going to rain soon. Let's get to the car before the storm catches us," he said softly, guiding her forward.Riley didn't pull away or argue. She simply let Ezra support her as they made their way toward the car park. Her mind was troubled, but she was too exhausted to protest. She didn't want to stay with Eash, letting him bug her for an answer.Eash's eyes narrowed into thin slits. Riley just shook his hand off when he touched her, but now she is letting his brother hold her hand and walk. His heart pounded with a mix of fear and anger. An urge to run after Riley, to pull her into his arms and tell Ezra to back off, surged inside him. But he knew better; acting on impulse would only make Riley angrier. He had never exp
