Chapter 5

    Rosa put down her baby on the bed and quickly change into proper clothes. Then, she searches her phone to call her half-sister.

"Olivia! Explain to me why you had rent Big Boss house to me!?" Rosa asked after her sister answer the phone.

   However, it is not her sister who answers the phone, but the operator's voice comes out from it. She dials again and again but fails to reach her sister again. Damn that sister! She planned this!? Rosa looks at her daughter. Her daughter had been quietly lay down on the bed with a grimace and red on her face then a loud fart comes from her bottom.

Rosa gives a big sigh, "Baby, I'm stress now and you reward me with your smelly treasure?"

    The baby giggled looking at her mother's funny stressed face. She thought her mother praising her for pooping well. After bathing her baby, she left the room and look at Louis who was sleeping deeply on the couch without a shirt on! Rosa shakes her head, how can this guy continue to sleep! Her phone beep, she receives a text from her sister.

'Dear sister, I am not in ABC country now. We are spending our honeymoon in AAA country for a few days. So, I hope you will not disturb us. Is Louis had come back? I forgot to tell you your boss is your housemate. You had signed a rent contract for that house! Used it well and good luck working at the café! I will always support you! XOXO'

    Rosa almost vomits blood after reading the text. What forgot??? She had planned this from the start! Arghhh! Is this how a big sister treats her little sister!? I should not believe her from the start! She wants to take revenge on me for sharing the same blood with a different mother!

    Rosa looks again at the man then she looks at her daughter who was also looking at the man. Her new toy. She wants to play with it, she gives Rosa pleading eyes but Rosa shakes her head.

"No. You cannot play with him." Rosa knows her baby likes to play with new people a lot, so she planned to bribe her daughter with food before her baby throws a tantrum.

"I let you eat a lot today, ok?" Rosa walk to the kitchen and let Damia sit on the baby chair. She cut some bananas into the kid bowl and give them to her baby. As soon the bowl touches the table, the baby lifts her hand and grab a lot of banana and greedily bring it to her mouth. She is still a six months old baby now, so her balance on lifting things is still poor and it makes the table and her bibs messy with the squeeze banana.

"Eat slowly, Mia." Rosa laughs at her baby greedy face. Then she boils some water to boil a soup of carrots and potatoes. She also makes scrambled eggs with baked beans. She let the carrots and the potato warm a little bit then she try to feed her baby with a spoon. But her baby wants to hold it by herself.

"Aaaaa!" Her baby let out some frustrated voice.

"Mia, you should learn to eat more like a lady like! Who wants to play with you if you mess up your food like this?" Rosa point at the table and the floor where the banana was over the place.

"I will play with this lady even she had a drool over her face." A deep voice comes from her back, she looks behind and saw a man with wet hair and a messy beard. He already wore a simple blue t-shirt and long comfort pants.

    Without any shame, Louis takes a bowl from Rosa's hand and sits beside the baby. Then he picks a carrot and lets the baby hold it. Her baby looks at Louis with shining eyes. Her new toy is her hero!

"What are you doing?" Rosa asked.

"I am serving my lady. She had already marked me with her drool before." Louis said casually.

This big boss is weird! "Then please serve yourself to eat. I had made breakfast for you an apology."

"Apology?"

"My sister must have planned all of this, I'm sorry for living here for a while without your consent."

"Hmm..." Louis leans on the chair and looks at Rosa.

"You know that a single mother will be your housemate?"

"Nope. I even don't know that my house had been rented but I just received an email of a document about the rent and the rules."

Rosa frowns. She doesn't understand her sister's purpose. "You do not worry about it. I will find a new rental house and move out. But, right now, can you let me stay here before I found a new house?"

Louis wipes her baby's mouth naturally with a nearby napkin and gives potato to her baby. "I think the document is quite interesting and you had already signed the contract for a year. I don't find any problem with it."

"What? Are you serious? Are you letting a single mother living in your house? Besides that, I'm your worker. I don't think this is appropriate."

Louis looks at her face with lazy eyes. "So, you are willing to pay a penalty for terminate the contract?"

Rosa wrinkled her eyebrows and she feels angry. "That contract is not even your doing! The contract is void!"

Louis searches his phone in his pocket and gives it to Rosa. "I had just signed the contract. It is now a valid contract."

"WHAT!?" Rosa saw his sign, full name, and even a thumbprint on the contract.

      Rosa has a headache. She buries herself in the contract and the rules that her sister had to make her signed. She regrets not making a copy! She had been cheated! She had read the contract, again and again, to find a mistake in it so that she can terminate the contract without pay any penalty, but there was nothing that she can do. Her sister had made the contract carefully like it was a project contract that cost millions of dollars!

   They were seating in the living room, her baby giggled and babble a lot on Louis's laps. Louis didn't even talk and play with the baby only letting the baby play with his beard. Rosa remembers the written rules. She slides the document and looks at the rules. She hit her head and curse, why am I so stupid!? The rules are too suspicious!
