CHAPTER 44 THE WIND IS COLD INTHE GARDEN AT NIGHT

After dropping Cecilia off at her house, Phil immediately goes to the mansion to search for Carmen because it is already late. He attempted to knock on the door of the maid's quarters in a different building to see if anybody would answer, but no one does. He is irritated because he couldn't find Carmen so they can converse.
