Doctor Escobar paused to process what Alejandro just said. It sounded more like a threat than a warning.

Without being told, he already knew Alejandro was upset. It was just a matter of time before they started exchanging blows.

“It's fine!

He can be admitted to our ward immediately,” Escobar bowed to pressure. However, he did give Alejandro the final warning.

“But if none of his relatives shows up in the next 24 hours, we would be forced to discharge him ahead of time. Do we have a deal?”

Doctor Escobar stated his condition just when everyone thought he was going to let go.

“You have my word.

I would ensure that one of his sons shows up today.” Alejandro assured.

Deep down, he knew how difficult it was to convince Hilton to accompany him to the hospital.

He barely knows Romeo, Antonio's second son. That would have shown up without hesitation.

Now he's stuck in between pleading for Hilton to show up or letting it slide.

Antonio was placed on the sickbed as some nurses atten

"Oh, so it's you again?” Alejandro asked, after seeing Hilton at the doorstep. Now he knows the reason for Mary's quietness. “You still had the guts to show up here after everything that happened? Are you that cruel?” he sparked outrageously. He never wanted to set his eyes on Hilton ever again. He also wishes that Antonio will send Hilton away. “Is my dad inside? I want to see him,” Hilton requested with pride. He was less concerned about Alejandro's rage. Despite the trauma he caused everyone, he refused to apologize to Alejandro. He stood on his ground like a perfectionist. “No, you're not seeing your father. I suggest you leave immediately and never return,” Aljeandro replied and shut the door immediately. He couldn't even wait for Hilton to explain. From outside, Hilton laughed. “What the heck was the old man thinking? I guess I should leave.“Dad, what did you just do? Why did you have to shut the door against him like that? In my honest opinion, that wasn't fair.” M

“I sincerely want to apologize in advance for asking this question because I know it's going to hurt you for real." Doctor Escobar initiated the conversation. He paused to seek the approval of Aljeandro before proceeding to avoid sounding rude. “It's about Hilton,”At the mention of Hilton's name, Alejandro covers his face in anguish. “Oh no?” He knew that the name alone connotes chaos and drama. And Hilton is the last person he wants to discuss, just to avoid having another migraine. “Go ahead with the question. You got nothing to worry about,” Aljeandro consented. It took him a couple of minutes to decide that. He was quite aware that it was a massive risk getting himself involved in Hilton's drama, yet he wasn't bothered. “How's your boss coping with him? It must be very tough for him, isn't it?" Doctor Escobar tossed the question that had been lingering on his lips for too long. Hilton might be gone, and Doctor Escobar could still feel the heat.. “Who are you talking ab

His stressed face had become fresh and spotless. He made a move to leave, but Alejandro didn't. He stood there watching Hilton like a dummy.“I said let's go. What are you still waiting for?” Hilton repeated his utterances. He already assumed that Alejandro didn't hear him the first time. “Like this?” he pointed at Hilton's outfit. Hilton fumed. His father hadn't opposed his choice of outfit before. This time, Alejandro was smart enough to avoid it.He walked away. “You're going to drive behind me,” he decided. “No, I'm not. We drive in my car." Hilton decided. He was damn serious about it, even though he was smiling. The insult was too much for Alejandro. He didn't even know how to react to it. That was the only moment he ever remembered that he was poor. He tried to speak, but the words refused to come out. His lips suddenly became too big to move sideways. He endured the insult and went to sit at the front next to Hilton. “What do you think you're doing?” Hilton que

  • I Married The Devil's Advocate    Reaching A Compromise

“Hey, Hilton, your father is on the phone. He wants to speak with you right now,” ALEJANDRO disclosed while stretching his hand to pass his phone over to Hilton. Alejandro wasn't convinced about letting Hilton have his phone for the second time. He won't stop withdrawing his hand every second. He has a feeling that Hilton won't display any emotions. Hilton turned his back against ALEJANDRO as he took another shot of vodka to cool off. He wasn't interested in speaking with his father. He wasn't happy that his father refused to meet his demand. He just can't deal with that anymore. “I just want to be left alone,” Hilton declined while directing his gaze at the bar. He didn't even bother to confirm who was calling. He has already decided to prioritize his liquor over his father. He considered his father the enemy now. And with the liquor, that's where he finds comfort. “You already concluded that you were never going to answer the phone. Does that sound right to you?' Alejand

“I thought you wanted to say something important. I can't believe you dragged me into suspense just to say trash." You do expect me to waste my time telling you a story about my past.” Antonio flared up. “I think you've overstayed your welcome. Now, I want you to leave, or else I will be forced to call the doctor to have you kicked out.” He puts more effort into ensuring that Mary leaves immediately. His rage was supposed to invoke the spirit of fear in Mary. Rather, it turned out to be a complete waste of time. Mary still proved to be an unstoppable force that can't be moved by threat. She looked him in the eyes. “I may not be the only one to be sent outside. I could literally ask my dad to abolish the mission." She laughed mischievously and went back to get seated even without being asked. The laughter was enough to send pain to Antonio's already shattered heart. He gnashed his teeth and prepared his fist to attack Mary regardless of his health. The doctor categorically war

To crown it all, Hilton didn't pay her for the sex they had. Which means he gets to save his money, time, and energy on her. “She has left now.” Hilton went back to ALEJANDRO with a lot of anticipation. He's hoping ALEJANDRO won't make him regret letting Anita leave. “Your father suffered a heart crisis shortly after the heated argument between you two last night,” ALEJANDRO explained. “My father has a heart attack, and I am just getting to find out about it.” Hilton fumed. He hated that he'd been left as though he's an outsider, whereas he's the first son. Heir apparent to Antonio's billionaire empire. “The doctor requested the presence of a family member to sign the consent form before he proceeds with the operation," Alejandro disclosed. He's tired of explaining everything to Hilton over a thousand times. “And my father suggested that I come over with you, didn't he?” Hilton smiled and licked his lips. His actions were somewhat complicated for Alejandro. Alejandro could
