Days passed to weeks. Carlos kept waiting for replies he had no idea from Sapphire but she did not respond. He knew there was something bothering her but she wouldn't budge.
He wondered what happened between them so suddenly and an invisible wall was constructed between them.

Chapter 19 Throughout the ride Carlos did not say anything. He was still flaring like a sun ball but somehow the photographer's declaration calmed the cells in Sapphire's body. After his words Sapphire did not see Carlos in the house. Tracing her phone on the center table of the living room she called her PI. So he had been checking her mobile. Sapphire never thought he would genuflect so low. But she was careful from the beginning knowing fully well the nature of her husband. She deleted all the messages and calls she had made to various people giving him no clue. Mr Guild lifted her phone in the second ring itself. Understanding the worry in her words, he assured her he was already in the process and would soon locate where Carlos had hidden Dr Scroll.
