Alpha Herveaux’s POV

"She just left in anger, should I have said no to her uncle’s request?" I wasn’t able to think straight, I stayed up all night when she left. Tristan missed talking to her on the terrace.

We waited all night, talking to no one but the two of us. I know Tristan loves her, but what do I do with Daciana? I will put my pack first; it needs to be strong; someone like Daciana would serve its purpose if ever war should erupt.

I need answers on the Vargulfs are they returning? Who awakened them? Is my uncle still alive?

I told Herving to get prepared; we have another place to visit. The last time I was with Fernando, I wanted him to watch the mansion while I was away.
