It was an exhausting day. I finished doing my night routine when my phone received a text from Ace. 

‘Thank you for comforting me, it was a big help.’  I smiled when I read the message. I pinched myself. Why am I so giddy?

‘I’m glad to help, besides it’s just a small thing.’  I replied. I didn’t do anything besides hugging him back, though. I didn’t do anything grand to make him feel better, but I’m glad it helped him. It’s not much of an effort but I feel proud of myself for it.
