"Get the documents ready and come over, I need to sign it as soon as possible."

I said to my lawyer over the phone as I prepared to take extra caution towards shutting out both Clara and Damien from reaching me, sooner or later one of them would come to beg or boost before me.

I could not bring myself to believe that Damien had no hand in the case, for some reason I always held him accountable for not just his actions but also that of Clara's.

"Something tells me that he still has no idea how the case came about."

I thought to myself as I lost focus on the present moment, he walked into the courtroom rather confused and surprised which is something he doesn't do much.

My hate for him still clouded the slightest chance of thinking that he has no idea whatsoever about the case, for all we know it could be Clara just manipulating him as well.
