Olivia Martins

I woke to soft morning light stretching across the stone floor. The sheets beside me were cold. Caspian was gone.

For a moment, I lay there staring at the ceiling, listening to the quiet. A folded note sat on the pillow where his head should’ve been. I reached for it.

Be ready later.

Caspian

Vague. Typical.

My stomach growled before I could dwell on it, dragging me out of bed. I got dressed in jeans and a soft black top, brushed my hair back into a braid, and padded barefoot downstairs. The halls were quiet, too quiet, and the tension from yesterday still clung to the air like humidity before a storm.

I was just hoping to sneak into the kitchen and grab something quick without running into anyone. But as I stepped in, I stopped.

Victoria sat at the long counter, munching on toast and sipping tea like she’d lived here her whole life.

“Hey,” she said through a mouthful, “you’re up late.”

Relief swept over me, loosening something tight in my chest. “D

Olivia Martins The room fell silent. It wasn’t just quiet; it was suffocating. The kind of silence that settled in your bones and made your heartbeat feel too loud. I could feel the weight of it pressing against my chest, and I wasn’t even the one trembling. Joshua was. Caspian stood next to me, shoulders squared, his eyes glowing faintly with that dangerous red flicker that meant his wolf was right there beneath the surface. I didn’t have to be bonded to him to feel it. His rage rolled off him in waves, coiling around the room like smoke. “If anyone here refuses to accept my mate as their Luna,” Caspian said, his voice like carved stone, low and unshakable, “then you're welcome to challenge me as the Alpha. If not, then you are welcome to leave.” No one moved. No one spoke. Not even Joshua. Caspian’s eyes swept over the pack like a blade, cold and merciless. “But let me make one thing clear,” he added. “Olivia is my mate. She will be your Luna. That is not up for debate.” He

Olivia Martins Dessert was simple. Sweet cream and honey-soaked fruit on delicate slices of sponge cake. I tasted vanilla and rosewater and something tart and red that made me close my eyes and hum around the bite. Across the table, Caspian smiled like he’d been waiting for that exact sound. “What?” I asked, licking cream from my spoon. He shook his head, eyes soft. “Nothing. Just… close your eyes.” I gave him a look. “Why?” “Because I said so,” he teased gently. “Do you trust me?” I held his gaze for a long beat, then let my eyes fall shut. “Yes.” And I did. I heard the soft scrape of wood against stone, a chair shifting. The faint click of a box opening. Something small and weighty was placed in front of me with a muted thud. “Okay,” he said. “You can open them.” I blinked into the candlelight and gasped. A velvet box sat on the table, open, revealing a necklace that shimmered like frost beneath the moonlight, delicate diamonds cascading in a crescent shape, with matchi

Olivia Martins Caspian’s kiss tasted like longing and promise. The years between us melted as his mouth claimed mine again and again, slower this time, deeper. My fingers curled into the front of his shirt, needing more than the feel of his lips. Needing him. His hands cupped my face, steady and sure, thumbs brushing the corners of my mouth. “Olivia,” he breathed, his voice rough with restraint. I answered by pulling him closer. He lifted me into his arms with ease, like I weighed nothing to him. I clung to his shoulders, head tucked against his throat. His scent overwhelmed me: cedar and rain and that familiar warmth I’d never stopped craving. The soft creak of the door behind us gave way to quiet as he carried me into the bedroom. The candlelight spilled in golden puddles across the sheets. Everything felt warm, like him. Familiar. Safe. He set me down at the edge of the bed, and for a moment, neither of us moved. We just looked. His gaze swept over me with reverence, like h

Olivia Martins The morning light filtered in soft and golden, casting warm rays over the tangled sheets and bare skin. I blinked slowly, breath shallow as I took in the man sleeping beside me. Caspian. His chest rose and fell steadily, one arm looped protectively around my waist, the other curled near his face. His lips were parted just slightly, his lashes dark against his skin. He looked younger like this. Peaceful. Human. I didn’t want to move. Every part of me ached, but not in a painful way. I ached with the memory of him, of us finally coming together after years of distance, heartbreak, and longing. My body still hummed with the imprint of his touch, and I knew I’d never be the same. I didn't want to. I shifted a little to face him, brushing my fingertips along his jaw. His eyes opened slowly. “Hi,” he murmured, his voice low and rough with sleep. “Hi.” A sleepy smile tugged at his lips. “You're still here.” I smiled back, just as softly. “Where else would I be?”

OLIVIA MARTINS "Look at her, what a slut."I ignore the whispers and stares as I walk down the hallway of my high school. It wasn't new to me, the insults, the disgusted looks they throw at me. I should have gotten used to it by now. But I haven't. It doesn't hurt any less after a thousand times, and I still feel the burn in my cheeks when their stares get too unbearable.I keep my head down and increase my pace, counting my steps until I'm out of the school, where I won't be able to hear their snickers and whispers anymore. The blast of air that hits me as I step out of the school walls is refreshing, calming the storm raging in me. You might wonder why I put up with it. Well, it's because I have no other option. As an omega, I don't really have many choices. I listen, obey, and do what I'm told without questions. It's been that way for as long as I can remember. My opinions don't matter, my feelings are ignored, and the only reason I've not been kicked out is because of Caspian,

I stood there, frozen in shock, as the Luna's words hung in the air. Her face twisted in rage. "You think you're so clever, don't you? She continued, her voice mocking. "I know your kind. Always seeking to use others to get what they want. But I won't let you do that to my son." She pointed a finger at me. "All you are is an easy body for him to use however he pleases. The second he meets his fated mate you'll be nothing to him." I felt a stinging sensation, as if her words had physically slapped me. She was right and we both knew it. I felt a lump form in my throat as I struggled to swallow. My eyes began to prick with tears, but I blinked them away. I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of seeing me cry. Her eyes held mine, searching for any sign of weakness. But I stood my ground, refusing to let her see how much her words hit home. The silence between us stretched out, becoming almost unbearable, until finally she spoke again. "If you know what's best for you, you'll lea

But it never came. As he swung his hand to hit me, he lost his balance and stumbled forward, crashing to the ground. He lay there, knocked out cold. I sat there still trembling at what just happened. My heart racing, my breath heavy. The sound of his snoring brought me out of my reverie. I quickly stood up and entered my room making sure to lock the door. He'd probably be out cold until tomorrow, but it was better to be safe than sorry. After washing up, I lay on my bed, my senses on high alert, tensing at every sound, afraid that my father would wake up and finish what he started. I didn't even realise when I finally fell asleep. ^^^ I woke up before my alarm rang, and got out of bed. Pressing my ear against the door, I was relieved to hear my father's loud snores. I gently opened the door, to find him still knocked out. I quietly got ready for school, trying not to make a sound that might wake him. Just as I slipped on my shoes, a car horn blared loudly outside. "Shit,"

Bridget is Caspian's mate. The words echoed in my mind, mocking me. Caspian's mate. He is her mate. She's his. Not me. My world crumbled as the implications of her words hit me. A wave of despair washed over me; my eyes stung, and I fought back tears threatening to fall. The pain was suffocating, making it hard to breathe, hard to think. All I could do was stand there, fighting back my tears, as my heart broke into a million pieces. Caspian spoke up, disrupting the storm raging in me. "I told you, Bridget. We're not mates." He sighed frustratedly. There were not mates. Just as fast, the storm cleared, and I perked up. He wasn't hers. "But...but you're my mate." She cried out. Now I was confused. Are they mates or not? "It's a two-way thing, Bridget." He said. "I'd feel it if you were my mate." "You need to stop claiming me as your mate," Caspian added. "We're not." With that, he grasped my arm and pulled me along, the crowd parting to let us through. The joy I felt at hi

Olivia Martins “Do you really want to bond yourself to an omega… forever?” Ryker asked. I held my breath, anxiously waiting for Caspian's reply. And then— “I couldn’t be more sure,” Caspian said, his voice low and steady. “I’ve waited long enough to make her mine.” Something inside me unknotted. I stood frozen for a second, the weight of his words grounding me in place. Then, without thinking, I raised my hand and knocked—once, sharply—before pushing the door open without waiting for a reply. Both men turned at the sound. Ryker blinked in surprise, but I only had eyes for Caspian. I walked in without a word, locked eyes with Ryker long enough for my glare to land, and then crossed the room in three purposeful strides. Caspian barely had time to straighten before I reached up, grabbed the collar of his shirt, and kissed him. Hard. It wasn’t gentle. It wasn’t tentative. Six years of longing, confusion, pain, and buried love burst to the surface. His hands hesitated for only

I braced myself for venom, for the bitterness she’d once spat so freely when she saw me as a threat to Caspian's future. But she surprised me. "Olivia," she said calmly. I eye her suspiciously, waiting for an outburst. "Luna Storm." I was greeted with a subtle bow, and when I lifted my head, she didn't stare at me with the disdain I'd gotten used to receiving from her. Instead, his eyes were softer, or at least I thought they were. This side of her was new to me, so I didn't really know what to expect. She stepped towards me and held my hand in hers. “I thought you were the reason he was betraying his mate,” she started quietly. I blinked, thrown off by the absence of malice in her voice. “Bridget,” she clarified. “I believed she was the one. I thought Caspian was being selfish. And reckless.” My heart pounded in my ears. I stayed silent. “I didn’t want history repeating itself,” she co

Olivia Martins The breeze tugged at the hem of my shirt as we made our way toward the sleek black SUV waiting at the edge of the clearing. My heart thudded with every step, unsure if it was nerves or something deeper settling beneath my skin. Caspian walked beside me, silent but solid, his presence grounding even when everything inside me felt like it was shifting. Then I saw her. “Victoria?” I blinked, stopping in my tracks. She was standing by the car—duffel bag slung over one shoulder, backpack at her feet, arms crossed with that familiar look of quiet determination stamped on her face. She smiled. “Did you really think I’d let my best friend travel to the other side of the country without me?” Emotion clogged my throat. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. A laugh slipped through my lips instead, shaky and raw, and then she was in my arms. We held each other tightly, tears slipping freely now, soaking into the fabric of her hoodie and my shoulder. “I don’t care

Olivia Martins "Everyone, I want you to meet my mate, Olivia Martins." A stunned silence fell across the clearing after Caspian’s words echoed into the air. Then— Gasps. Cheers. Applause. Some clapped hesitantly, others with genuine excitement, while whispers fluttered like moths through the crowd. My heart hammered in my chest, my breath coming in shallow pulls as all eyes turned to me. But I didn’t look at them. I was too focused on the one face that didn’t cheer. Bridget. She stood a few paces behind the crowd, her face pale as bone, lips parted in disbelief. Her eyes were locked on me like she couldn’t make sense of what she was seeing. Like she didn't believe it was me. Then she spoke, her voice sharp enough to slice through the noise. “No. No, it can’t be her.” The crowd quieted at once. Bridget sho
