The Next Day

I woke up by 3:50am in the morning, I let out a long yawn before turning around.

“I have to leave the house before anyone wakes up”bmy inner voice said

“Or I should just sleep for ten more minutes and wake up by five o’clock ” I thought

“No No No I have to wake up” my inner voice said as I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hands.

I quickly used the bathroom before taking a shower.

I decided to leave the house by seven o’clock because no one wakes up till eight o’clock which will be easy for me to leave without being seen.

After taking a shower I wore a blue plain shirt white was a gift from Nora on my seventeenth birthday, I wore a jeans shorts to go with it and a white sneakers.

I looked at my reflection on the mirror before I spoke

“This outfit reminds me of old times”

I rapidly started packing my clothes

“Gowns check, bikini check, charger check, shoes check, blouse check, hat check and finally shoes” I said as I brought out some of my shoes and arranged them.

I took some money from my cupboard after I erased my phone's memory after I asked Liv to help me buy a new phone so my parents won't trace my location.

“I don’t want any disturbance or trouble this summer” I said to myself as I kept the phone on the table.

After packing, I checked the time and noticed there was still time before the driver will arrive

“What am I gonna do” I said as I sat on the couch

“Should I write a letter to mom” I thought as I quickly took a pen and paper.

Dear mom

I know you might be wondering where I am or when I’m coming back but you have no reason to worry as I know you won’t be worried about me but your reputation.

I don’t have much to say but don’t bother looking for me.

Bye.

Immediately as I dropped the letter on the table my room door opened which made my heart skipped

“Oh lord" I said as I felt a relief when Rose walked into the room

“Good morning”she said with a smile on her face

“Good morning”

“I brought breakfast for you, it’s your favorite tuna sandwich”

“Thank you” I said as I kept it in my backpack

“Before I forget, the driver is waiting for you outside” she said

“I better get going” I said as I hugged her

“I’m gonna miss you”

“I will miss you too” I said after I released her from the hug

“Have fun, enjoy your time cause when you come back you know what’s gonna happen”

“Yeah I know but I don’t wanna talk about what will happen after I come back”

Rose helped me with my luggage as we walked downstairs

“Take care of yourself ”she said after I entered the car

“You too”

On my way to the airport FBO, the taxi stopped in the middle of the road which got me worried. The driver called the mechanic several times but his phone wasn’t reachable. He tired to turn on the car engine but unfortunately he couldn’t

“Oh lord what am I gonna do now” I said to myself

“Can you try and call the mechanic again”

He called the mechanic and this time he answered the call. They talked for a couple of minutes before he did something on the car engine and tired turning it on.

I crossed my fingers hoping for luck as the engine started

“Yes” I said excitedly

“Shall we” he said as he entered the car

“My flight is by eight o’clock, please hurry up and get me there”

Shortly I got to the airport, I paid the driver after I took my luggage from the car truck

“Vickie” a voice said from behind, I instantly recognized the voice as it was Nora’s

Nora is fair in complexion, her eyes are ocean blue in color, she has a pointed nose, a pink colored lips, long brown hair and she is a bit taller than me.

She wore a black jeans and topped it an ash shirt, a blue sneakers which I gave her on her sixteen birthday.

“I missed you” I said as I hugged her

“I missed you too” she said after I released her from the hug

We entered the inside we came face to face with Liv who didn’t look happy

“Where have you guys been, the pilot has been waiting” Liv said

“Sorry the car stopped at the middle of the road”

“Okay come on let’s go”

“Where are Lyon and Mick” I asked

“They are in the plane waiting for us” she said as we walked to where the plane was parked.

Shortly we entered the plane and was about to take up.

I sat on the couch reading a magazine while Lyon and Liv were whispering at each other’s ears

“Couple weirdness” I mumbled

“Hey Vickkie” Mick said coming closer to me

Mick is fair in complexion, his eyes are blue in colour, his lips are peach in color, he is tall and a bit muscular

“Hi” I said as I closed the magazine

“How have you been”

“All good just reading a magazine”

“I heard you’re joining your parents company”

I was about to talk when Nora interrupted

“She’s not joining the company” as she took a bite of an apple

“But I saw your contract signing” he said

“I didn’t actually sign the contract”

“I’m kinda hungry” Lyon said interrupting our conversation

“I have a tuna sandwich in my backpack” I said while opening the bag

“Gross who eats tuna sandwich”

“That’s your girlfriend favorite mid snack”

“Really babe, tuna sandwich” he said

“What’s wrong with tuna, it’s good you should try it sometime” Liv said as I passed her the sandwich

“I will take one piece” Nora said

“And I will make a cup of coffee, Lyon you want some” Mick said as he walked to the coffee machine

“Yeah bro”

The journey was short, well maybe I thought it was short as we kept talking and lost track of time.

She had already lost balance and was on the ground, she had no idea how to react, as tears rolled down to her chin. "How is that possible, I saw you, I talked to you some moments ago” she silently sobbed She was on the floor when she heard a voice from afar "I got the diary"She was confused at the moment, Lyon’s body was laid in front of her "Who is the person that just talked, is it possible it is an illusion but that had never happened before” she thought She was extremely terrified, she didn’t understand what was happening, how is that possible Lyon’s body is here, and if this is real then who was she talking to a few minutes from now?She was still on the floor silently sobbing, she had numerous questions and wonders"Why! Why is this happening, she had just seen him and a few seconds from now she heard his voice” she whimpered Immediately she heard his voice

Please say something, are you okay, Lyon say something please" she screamed She kept knocking on the door but there wasn’t any response from Lyon. She placed her ear on the door, she wanted to be sure if there was a sound coming from the room or not."Lyon! are you okay, please say something, anything, I just want to make sure you’re fine, Lyon!" she said but there was no response She was terrified, she had already started moaning about his death, she slowly walked towards the center table and sat on it. Why”She felt left alone, she wanted to kill herself, at least that would be better than staying in a hunted house alone, she could have stopped the music if L
