ANDREA.
I tried on a white dress on the rack and decided to buy it. It wasn't an eye candy dress, or anything fancy. In fact, it was too simple that it mirrored my emotions about the ceremony.
Bland.
It was the first one my eyes caught, and when the size worked well on me, I didn't try another dress. I didn't even bother to ask Jenny if the dress looked good on me because it was the least of my concerns.
Gamma Sebastian's words were still ringing in my head. I wanted to believe him, and I wanted to hope that what he was saying was true—that Riley was having second thoughts about me. But I just couldn't let my guard down and wait until he changed his mind. I still wanted to find a way to let Caspian know about the ceremony in two days.
I snapped back from my thoughts when I saw a familiar figure pass by outside the shop.
Tanya!
I gave the dress to Jenny and told her to tell the sales lady we would be coming back for the dr
Hello, lovelies! The update came in too late. I had a full day and fell asleep as soon as we were home (while putting my girl to sleep). So I stayed up late to make sure I'd have one for you today. Tomorrow's chapter will be intense, so hang in there. ♡ I've read all your comments and assumptions about Riley's mate, but I can't spoil the fun yet :D But we will know once Riley lets us in on his thoughts again. Thank you for waiting and reading and for all the comments and gems! You are all amazing! ☆♡☆
GAMMA SEBASTIAN. "I told them to stop the preparation for the ceremony tomorrow. When are you going to tell the Luna?" I asked Alpha Riley, after confirming to him that the Luna Ceremony was already canceled as discussed with the Elders just a few hours ago. I sought help from the Elders and they agreed that holding the ceremony outside of the full moon was considered a bad omen. All Silver Moon Pack Alpha Unions and Luna Ceremonies were held during the full moon. I thought we would have a hard time convincing Alpha Riley to cancel it, but the moment it was suggested and explained by one of the Elders, he just nodded his head and told them we could have the ceremony on the next full moon, which was two weeks from now. "Where is she?" "At the training grounds with Jenny." "What is she doing there?" "She's probably doing some training. She has nothing to do here, so she spends almost all her free time with Jenny and they usually go for training." The Alpha didn't reply, and he l
My feet sprung forward towards the border. Everyone else disappeared as my eyes locked with Caspian's. But before I could reach him, I felt an arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me backward. A cry left my throat as my back slammed against someone's hard torso. I saw Caspian lunge forward, leaping over the barricade gate, but he was immediately flocked and blocked by Riley's men. "No! Caspian!" I struggled to break free from Riley's hold, but he was holding my waist tightly. "Andrea..." Riley's voice was calm as he steered me away from the border, pulling our bodies backward. "Leave, Caspian! Or you will regret what I will do!" Riley bellowed at Caspian. "Fuck you!" Caspian's face was full of hatred as he pushed Riley's men from blocking his way. "Leave, or I will mark her in front of you." My eyes widened at Riley's word as I felt his free hand-coiled on my hair, tugging it down and making my head
ANDREA. I slumped my body on the ground as I watched Caspian's car drive off. He left me. I was back to being alone. I felt my heart being squeezed hard as his car disappeared from my vision and tears took over. It didn't take long for my body to be hoisted up, and I snuggled my head, seeking comfort in the warm body that held me, but when his scent reached my nose, I jolted up and struggled free. Riley's grip on me tightened as he walked us into the car. I was seated on Riley's lap, but as he leaned in and pulled the car door closed, I took the opportunity to crawl away from him. "Andrea..." He called out in a desperate voice as his hand tried to reach for me, but I swatted it away, glaring at him. "Don't you dare touch me, I will jump out of the car." I spat angrily at him. "Lock the door." He ordered calmly at Gamma Sebastian, and I let out a low hiss when I heard the door locked beside me. My hand curled into a
CASPIAN. We've been receiving reports of rogue attacks on territories near our pack, and just last night, I sent out my own men to assist the pack two hours away from ours. They came just in the nick of time, and although many were hurt in the attack, there were no casualties. I could sense the next attack would be on my territory or Riley's. I knew I should reach out to him to make sure we have men guarding the neutral territory connecting our lands, but I couldn't pick up the phone to call him. Instead, I rang Alpha Jacob. And like always, he didn't hesitate to lend us some of his warriors to amp up the security of my territories. Timothy, Gamma Aaron's second in command would be the one heading his men. Gamma Aaron should have been the one he wanted to send out, but he just recently mated with Janna. Janna celebrated her eighteenth birthday a day ago, and it turned out Aaron was her fated mate. Good for them. I knew Janna has
ANDREA. I've been here with Nana for the last twenty-four hours and I haven't heard anything from Riley. Although I wanted to be away from his presence, I was worried that my plan wasn't working. I wanted him to convince me to go back to the pack house and in return, I would ask him to answer all my questions regarding his mate. If Riley agreed, he would be forced to tell me everything, and I knew him, he would never turn back on his words. But he was still nowhere. It seemed like he didn't care that I was not around. Maybe he was losing interest in me, which was better. I was setting the table while Nana was preparing food for dinner. I never told Nana about Caspian. Not that I didn't want to. But Jenny's warning kept ringing in my head. The fewer people I talked to about Caspian, the less information Riley would be able to acquire. I trusted Nana and Jenny, but I didn't trust Riley, especially since he can use his Alpha command to fish out i
"How could you? She was probably shy or scared to approach you! It was your call to look for her! You're a fucking ALPHA!" He caught my fists and held them steady. His eyes were starting to dilate into black as he gritted his teeth. "I don't want my fated mate!" "Take her and let me go!" "No!" "What is wrong with you?" "Many things are wrong with me!" He shouted back before dropping my fists harshly. He turned around and punched the wall in front of him, cracking it as my body jerked backward on impulse. "I don't understand you, but that female, I'm sure, will love you the way you wanted to be loved! She's your mate, Riley, not me!" I was getting frustrated again with this man. I had no idea how I could open his mind. "You don't know how it feels not to be someone's first choice. I do! Every fucking day since the day I was born! And the fact that my mate didn't bother to reach out to me meant only one thing - she wasn't c
BETA PAUL. "Come again?" Alpha Caspian asked the female sitting on the couch in his office while I leaned my sides against the big window overlooking the garden at the side of the packhouse. "I said, I'm willing to lend you five million if you help me out to get away from the Alpha who wanted to claim me." Lady Katarina repeated her proposition to Alpha Caspian. Lady Katarina was one of the females that Alpha Caspian got acquainted with when he attended the Alpha training in their territory when he was fifteen. They were in constant communication after that until it wore off. Probably because of Andrea. "What made you think I would take your offer?" His brows furrowed as he shook his head. "I heard my brother and Alpha Riley discussed you and the money you needed. I didn't hear the exact amount, but Alpha Riley said you're just a few million short. So I thought I'd take the opportunity." "Were they laughing at me?" I saw Alpha Ca
ALBA. The moment I stepped out of Riley's car, his scent hit me. It was stronger than the first time I smelt him. He smelled of cedarwood and mint. It was intoxicating, and despite the smell of blood mixed with the disgusting smell of rogues, I found myself getting aroused. My eyes scanned the area while keeping my guards up, and then I found him. In his wolf form. No wonder his scent was too strong. He didn't notice me, but I didn't mind as I watched him in awe. Time stood still and I forgot I was in the middle of the battlefield. The dark-grey wolf I was watching was skillfully maneuvering his body to counter the rogue attack. He was moving flawlessly, and I couldn't stop my heart from palpitating. He was... he was too perfect. Or at least his wolf was. I snapped back from my trance the moment I saw one rogue wolf launching in the air with his fangs out in the direction of my mate. My reflexes were faster than my mind, and I ju
