“Haze, why are you like this, huh? You should be happy that Mr. Da’ud is coming to spend another night with you! Dance with me because every woman dreams of that man!” Mayuri’s voice echoed in the room. There was a lot of curiosity in her voice. The glow of her ecstasy as if lit up the room.

She looked down at Hazel, the brush between her fingers caressing Hazel’s cheek delicately. She frowned when Hazel did not answer her. She was not in the mood to participate in Mayuri’s excitement.

“Haze!” Mayuri yelled. Hazel hissed, eyes closing automatically. Mayuri’s voice could bleed anyone’s ears.

“What, Mayuri?” Hazel asked, ignoring her death glares.

“Do you know what power the Da’ud family holds?” Hazel denied. She had no idea and no interest in knowing about the Da’ud family.

On one side was Mayuri who was shining and thundering like lightning, and on the other was Hazel who was drowning in anxiety. She was upset, did not know what work Christian had tonight, and that he wanted to meet her.

It was obvious that he was not coming there to talk to her about the law. He was just coming there for his work. But he had said that he would not touch her until she was eighteen-year-old? She believed him, did she not?

She should not have, that is all. Because he had some purpose. Maybe the purpose of breaking that promise. What if he had some other work? She tried to console herself. She tried to make herself understand but there was no use.

He changed his mind—this was the only reason! Her subconscious said emotionlessly.

How could she believe him? She still wondered!

“Oh, God! You’re a stupid, Haze! Didn’t you even hear the surname Da’ud? They’re indirectly the king—,”

“Of this earth, I know, Mayuri!” Because she had told her this all already. “But for me, the king is only one, Jesus Christ.”

Myuri rolled her eyes, “They’re lavish!”

“Enough, Mayuri…” Hazel was calm while telling her. She did not need to use her harsh tone because she was always polite. But she was definitely angry at Mayuri.

Mayuri scrunched up her nose before throwing a glare at her, “You’re tedious!” saying that, she left the room. Hazel’s make-up was done by then.

Once she closed the door of Hazel’s room with a loud thud, Hazel sighed. She did not mind that uncivilized behavior of Mayuri but she was glad that she finally left.

She got up from the chair and walked towards the door of her room. She opened it and looked outside, down the stairs. And for her bad luck, the hall was not empty.

She saw the man in the hall. He was discussing something with Eliseva. A serious look was carved on his face and unlike other men, he was not running his eyes around, in search of the other girls.

After the small discussion was over with some small nods, he moved with Eliseva. She walked towards the stairs, going up, while Christian followed her.

Hazel straightened her back, taking a deep breath. Eliseva told her to do the same so a good impression could make. Though Hazel was uncomfortable like this, she had to obey Eliseva, or else she had no idea about the level of anger inside Eliseva.

As soon as he reached the corridor, he looked at Hazel, getting mesmerized by her appearance right there.

No, he did not need to scan her like a creep. He just looked at her face which was glowing in the darkness. The thin layer of make-up on her face was working, catching his attention but he was not affected by it. Not even a bit.

Her lips were enhanced, as he found her parting them slightly to let the tip of her tongue flick out and lick her bottom lip.

She looked nervous.

His mere glance at her made her restless.

And right when he looked into her eyes, she stopped breathing. Oh no! What did he just do! He was well aware of his killer gaze, yet he made her breathless with that one single look of his eyes.

Those burning orbs nitid like a sun, burning her oxygen, as if

But then he just averted his gaze. She found peace but her heart was drumming inside her chest, fearing the night.

With fear glistening in her eyes, she kept staring at him. Her hands clutched her skirt as she found the distance between them turning shorter.

“Please enjoy, sir,” Eliseva said and moved to leave. Her eyes mistakenly caught a view of Hazel’s pale face and a smirk formed on her lips.

Eliseva left, and Christian used his one minute in scanning her. That was his plan. He wanted to make her shiver under his hawk-like gaze. He beheld her, eyes turning dark as they caressed her body. The lust glinting in his eyes as if shadowed her body, making her cold and shiver under his gaze, as he thought.

She had no power to hold his gaze. She moved aside, giving him some way. He smirked at her attempt and went inside while she followed him, closing the door behind her.

Her hands were shivering while doing that.

It was as if she was digging her own grave.

She took a deep breath, calming down herself.

He sat on her bed. His legs spread wide in an alpha position. Dominance oozed out of him, his menacing aura reaching her and turning everything cold around.

Everything about him scared her. Like a haunted house, he was like a haunted man to her. But she had to ignore him if she wanted to serve him well.

As she learned, she took a bottle of wine. She held a glass and gulped down her lump in nervousness. She wanted to stop shivering first.

“I don’t want this,” his deep voice stopped her. He commanded her out of the blue, taking her by surprise. She nodded nonetheless, putting the bottle back.

“What…” she lacked oxygen around him as if his presence burnt it. She took a deep breath, trying again, “What do you… you want me to do, Sir.”

His eyes squinted, inspecting that tensed body of hers yet it tantalized him. She was looking down, fidgeting with her fingers, and waiting for his command. He licked his bottom lip and said huskily, “Come here.”

She took some steps towards him, going away from the table where the bottles of wine rested. All the time, she kept looking down. When she reached him, she kept a distance of three feet between them and peered up at him through her thick eyelashes.

Her intoxicating scent clouded his senses. That vanilla fragrance lured and he did not waste a single moment in pulling her onto his lap.

She gasped. Her hands clutched his shoulders for support. He did it suddenly, what else could she do?

She was suffocated by that proximity when he snaked his arm around her bare waist, enjoying the hot touch of her smooth skin.

She looked down, her eyes squeezing shut and her hold becoming tight on the fabric of his jacket. She was embarrassed because of that position.

The heat reached onto her cheeks, turning them red in abashment when he moved his rough and wide palm down her skin and squeezed her buttocks. That was becoming out of tolerance. She was having enough, according to her.

He smirked upon seeing her reaction. She was looking down and her face was crimson red by now. He could look at her face without any disturbance and her reaction amused him.

He pushed on her ass, connecting their bodies like sea waves crashing onto each other. Her breasts grazed upon his hard chest, giving him a hot feeling. He did not stop there. He held her hips and hoisted her up slightly so she straddled him, practically sitting on him and the position gave him hardness.

Tears brimmed her eyes as the man kept making her feel abashed. He then landed his palm on her inner thighs before gliding down to her knees.

“Please, d-don’t.” Her eyes squeezed shut and she unconsciously clutched tightly on the fabric of his jacket as her hands rested on his broad shoulders. He was not going to stop. He made her legs wrap around his waist and made her sit properly, while she was dying inside with everything he was doing to her.

“Open your eyes, princess,” he demanded and she did as he said. She opened her beautiful eyes for him which were surely red because of squeezing them shut every time she felt shameful.

“Do you believe in God?” He asked her out of the blue. Him asking about God suddenly was indeed unexpected. Though she did not understand his motive, the answer within her was crystal clear.

 She nodded slowly.

“So telling lies is God’s lesson?” he asked while dipping his head in the crook of her neck, his voice hinting at danger.

She shivered, feeling the hot breaths escaping him landing on her skin. She clutched his shoulders in reflex but her mind was lingering around the question he asked.

Teaching lies? No. He never taught something like that. But why was he asking? Especially the teachings about lies. Lies. She repeated in her mind again and suddenly her body stiffened.

“Tell me, angel,” he husked, nuzzling her neck before giving her skin a long lick to her jaw. She bit her trembling bottom lip to prevent herself from sobbing. That touch was burning her and she did want to get burned.

“N-no-ahh!” and she gasped loudly the moment he tilted her head to one side by grabbing her hair from behind. Harshly. He did not even let her complete her answer.

“Then why did you lie to me, hm?” he asked gruffly while his grip was tightening in her hair as he made her face him. The tears on which she kept a hold till now, shed leisurely because of his grip. She squeezed her eyes shut and whimpered, “Please s-stop it.” He inflicted a sharp pain shot into her scalps.

“This is not the answer to my question, princess.” She heard him saying more gruffly into her ear. He kissed her earlobe, the action was totally different, before he tugged in her hair brutally, adding, “Your delay is doing your harm.” And she understood clearly why he was tormenting her.

“I-I didn’t want y-you to know t-that I’ll t-turn eighteen in the next three months—,”

“Why?”

“B-because I-I thought you...you will ruin me t-that time,” she managed to answer him as urgently as possible so he just left her and he did it after getting his answers, leaving her breathless.

“Hi.” An excited chirp met her ears, grabbing her attention. She turned to look at the person, finding it a beautiful lady. Her face was attractive, her features sharp. Her appearance matched a bit with… Christian, but the eye color kept them apart. His eyes were a pair of burning volcanic flames, while the girl had a pair of hazel eyes — wood color mixed with leaf flecks. She was longer than her and seemed as high as Gabriella. Her body was curvy, hidden behind a pink chiffon saree. She was glad the hall had heaters around otherwise the man with her had put a huge jacket on her shoulders, ruining her fashion. Her plump lips were stretched into a beautiful smile, which made her smile as well.“Hi.” Giving her a hand which she accepted wholeheartedly to shake it.“I’m Abigail, Chris’ elder sister and you must be Hazel, right?” She guessed it, showing her pearly white teeth. Hazel nodded slowly and hesitantly, afraid that she was like Gabriella. “Gabriella told me. Actually catching

“Really?” Hazel looked at Rebecca, who looked surprised and confused as well. Her brows were knitted together and she was listening to the person who was speaking to her from the other side. “I can’t believe it. Anyway, I’ll be there.” She went silent again. Her eyes stopped upon Hazel and she nodded. “Hm, I understand. Bitches remain bitches after all. But it’s okay, Mr. Da’ud was kind enough to invite us on his own. We can expect respect from respected people, after all.” She giggled at the end and then disconnected the line. She put the mobile on the table and sat on a chair. She turned to Hazel and then started speaking though she never looked eager to know about her conversation. “Dear, Marcus and I are invited to a party. Must reach by 7 pm. I don’t think that Sir will also come home tonight, so maybe you…” She trailed off, giving Hazel a hint but just at that moment, the doorbell rang. “Lemme check it, you shouldn’t get up again and again.” Hazel got up, interrupting Rebecc

Eyes held a slight drop of worry when she peered down at him. His lips connected to hers and sucking them like he yearned them from the depth of his heart, dryness of his throat, and emptiness of his hunger. Her heart skipped a beat and then thudded loudly inside her chest. So loud that she could hear her heart beating in her ears and she was sure the soft sound must have reached his ears, too, as he sucked her bottom lip zealously, taking it between his teeth and then opening his eyes ever so slowly that the time seemed to freeze around her — around both of them. His intoxicating eyes, covered with those dark eyelashes, hypnotized her to the core — to the point where she knew she would give herself to him any time because the magic of his sweet presence had started to work tremendously, not ready to stop after that. Staring deep into her big beautiful eyes, he slightly leaned back and licked her bottom lip. His palm grazed her cheek lovingly and warmth spread throughout her chest

Sitting on his comfortable chair, while he was doing his work as diligently as ever, his mobile beeped with the notification bell. He ignored it as usual but after that, it started vibrating continuously, leaving him annoyed. The habit of constantly texting after being ignored by him was only used to be found in Gabriella. He leaned forward to reach the gadget and find a message from the person he expected. It was a picture of which the decoration of the chosen venue she wanted to show him, with a text message in which she asked him about the flowers that needed to be changed if he wanted them to be. The picture was already downloaded so he could see there were white lilies with which the place was decorated. White, the color that always suited a without-a-halo-wingless-angel he knew — Hazel. And the flower lilies were the flowers he used last night for the girl he admired from the bottom of his heart — Hazel. Once again everything seemed to make him think about her. And now when

Eyes opened and his face was the first thing she saw before starting the day. The proximity did not seem to trouble her this time because it felt like she expected it as soon as she would open her eyes. She did not feel scared when she saw him. Rather than not knowing why looking at him so closely, it seemed as if she was trying to understand some mystery — which was his face. Many questions were in her mind. Especially related to last night. She was also surprised to see the concern in his eyes for herself and also a small joy in the corner of her heart because, for the first time, someone made her feel valued; like someone had respected her emotions, her tears, her sorrow and everything that surrounded her like her own distinct atmosphere. She was surprised to find such a sudden change in him. He never looked so bothered for her. She did not even realize that while looking at him, her time was passing like running water. The peace on his face was totally different but it was suit
