(Morrigan’s P.O.V)
The next morning
Well, that was one weird ass dream. I had woken up with a start out of that dream to see that the sun was peeking through the curtains, and I see that my clock says that it’s 8 in the morning. Hmm, I’ve never really slept in this late, even with the weird dream I still felt like I slept better than I ever have in the past. Once I’m fully awake, I notice a heat against my back that is becoming almost unbearable and as I try to maneuver myself to see what was causing it, I realize that I can’t move.
Umm, what the fuck is going on? I think to myself.

(Morrigan’s P.O.V) I was honestly totally willing to get down and dirty there in the meadow, it would have been romantic if Rian had taken me there because it was one of my favorite places. (Rian’s P.O.V) It’s now the evening of Morrigan’s and my leaving feast and the palace is a whirlwind of activity with servants rushing about getting everything decorated and set up. (Morrigan’s P.O.V) Well, that dinner went to hell in a handbasket. I thought to myself. “You okay over there Luna?” Beta Killian asks. We left Rian to his meeting with my father, so Beta Killian escorted me to my bedroom. This was the first time I really got a good look at my mate's right-hand man and I must say, if I wasn't mated to Rian I would totally jump his bones. He has shoulder-length shaggy blond hair with piercing blue eyes which complimented his angular face. He is a muscular man, like Rian, and just an inch or two shorter than him as well. (Rian’s P.O.V) After a relatively peaceful night’s sleep, it’s time for us to get back to our kingdom and I can’t wait to have my little mate naked under me and marking her. It’s been torture having to wait this whole week, but I wanted our first-time mating to be at home as well as when I marked her. Last night was by far the hardest for me; in more ways than one. (Morrigan’s P.O.V) Stepping into the house was like being transported to a cozy log cabin in the woods, for as big as the house was, it truly had a “homey” feel to it. The foyer had a double staircase going up either side of it, all made of wood, with a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. “Wow, this is beautiful,” I whisper. “Thanks, mo grá, this is our home, the packhouse is just about a five-minute walk away. My parents have a house near there as well, but this is just for you and me.” He states, kissing my temple. We walk deeper into the house as he shows me the living room, dining area, and kitchen; the open floor concept is something that I love.
