“I’ll give you my credit card and you can go get you a dress. And don’t worry about the cost,” I whispered against her lips when I pulled back.

She smirked. “You don’t have to do that. I can buy a dress.”

I shook my head. “No. I want to,” I said as I placed a credit card with no limit on the table next to her plate. “Besides, you’d better get used to it.”

She smiled. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

I leaned closer and looked directly into her eyes. “It means that now that I found you again, I’m not going to let you go.”

“Ignore it,” I said, leaning in to give her a kiss. “It’s probably just the doorman.”
