Amanda's heart was hammering. She stared at the tower Arielle resided in with wide eyes.
Arielle has become a successful fashion photographer and earned handsome remuneration off of her passion. Otherwise they studied business management in college.
Anyway, Amanda removed her phone and gazed at the address sent to her by the matrimonial agency.
"I can't believe I am going to meet you after six years, Arielle." Amanda mumbled in anguish.
She was afraid to see Arielle out of the blue but then she set her emotions aside and composed herself. Walking inside the tower, then into an elevator, she took a deep breath.
She nervously stepped out of the elevator, looking around the fifth floor she was on, and gawked at the apartment number (206) with blinking eyes.
"Okay, stay calm, Amanda. You're here with a good motive so don't be scared." She told herself and ultimately rang the doorbell of Arielle's apartment.
She hadn't seen her former roommate for six years, and she wasn't even sure how Arielle would react upon seeing her.
In terror of Liam's wrath, Amanda was forced to cut ties with Arielle. It was either him or her. It was a tough choice but eventually Liam became Amanda's choice given that her boyfriend was his best friend, and he refused to let go of him.
Amanda was lost in her thoughts when Arielle opened the door. As soon as she saw Amanda a look of surprise dawned over her face.
"Uh, hii," Warning spasms of alarm erupted within Amanda as she forced her tight lips in a nervous grin.
Clearly Arielle was not happy seeing her after all these years. After being left alone in misery to survive in isolation.
But then, Amanda knew that she had to make Arielle forget the past and the vulnerability it had brought if she wished to marry her off with Liam, and she had to do it as soon as possible.
