4. Even after 6 years of separation... She is still single!
"Amanda?" Arielle's gorgeous face peeked outside the door, completely surprised.
"Arielle!" Amanda, who had been hesitant, quickly grew happy on seeing her and threw her arms around her former classmate and roommate's shoulders.
She hugged her happily and squeezed her. Arielle, on the contrary, stood there stunned. She had not expected anyone to come and see her. Not someone from her past life that she missed and craved for.
"Hey!" She hesitantly hugged her back.
When they parted away, "You have grown even more beautiful, El. Much more gorgeous and mature."
A raw and primitive grief overwhelmed Arielle.
She forced a smile and stepped aside, "Co-come inside."
Amanda knew it would be awkward for her. What happened six years ago at the age of eighteen, left Arielle alone.
Everyone left her and their mutual friends had split too, forcing her to isolate herself from the outer world. But now, all these years later someone from her old life was standing at her door uninvited.
It was damn awkward but Amanda maintained her smiles and cheerfulness.
"Your apartment is really nice. Ah! You're still fond of the purple and white combination." Amanda chimed as she strode through the hallway and stopped in the kitchen behind Arielle.
The apartment was not very big but vibrant and comfortable. A spacious drawing room before a corridor that led to two doors of different rooms opposite each other. The right side of the spacious foyer was a huge ceiling to floor window linked to a big balcony outside. Then there was the kitchen on the right side with a small round table and two chairs set across the kitchen counter that was laden with a wine bottle and a quarter filled glass.
"Hmmm, some habits are too rough to let go." Despair poured from Arielle's mouth as she answered the compliment. It was her favorite combination back in college.
Amanda noticed it and without a reply smiled while taking in the beautiful interior of the apartment.
"Would you like anything to eat or drink?" Arielle asked as soon as Amanda sat down in one of the chairs while observing the wine glass and the plate of croissant.
Arielle noticed it and in a soft tone, said, "Uh, I've become a fashion photographer and yesterday I signed an amazing contract. Soo... I was celebrating."
Amanda grinned, her eyes going wide in appreciation and looked around the place. "I know about photography. The contract and celebration makes me happier now. Congratulations." She said as she urged her beautiful friend to pour herself a glass of wine.
"How did you find me?" Arielle asked, sitting down on the couch beside Amanda.
"Long story Arielle." Amanda told her, sounding exhausted at the prospect of telling her.
Amanda knew that she had to be assertive in order to convince Arielle of the reunion of her and Liam. She had to be careful and not utter anything destructive. At the moment, she was drinking from the beauty of her former roommate who has grown amazingly heavenly.
Arielle Scott was not an eighteen year old young woman. When Amanda saw her now, she saw a lady of appealing height, with jutting perfect round breasts, beautiful comely, resplendent with a perfect and well-proportioned figure. Her brows looked radiant like the crescent moon, red cheeks as if she had blush put on and more like anemones.
Her eyes were rivaling those of a wild cow or a gazelle. Arielle's lips were coral red naturally and a gazelle-like neck.
Since she was wearing a flimsy nightgown ending above her knees, her figure was highlighted. Amanda can clearly tell she's grown up into a beauty Liam would do anything to own back again.
This Arielle Scott- was no way resembling the thin and transforming little girl Liam was in love with.
This Arielle has awfully transformed into a sexy vixen. Her figure was to die for. And those shuddering lips needed to be kissed. She can't stop staring at her. She had lost her wits and as a result failed to hear Arielle calling her.
"Amanda?" She was hardly shaken in order to be brought back to earth again.
"Huh! I.. I was..." Amanda looked away.
She was seeing her friend from the eyes of Liam. Nevertheless, true Liam's gaze was even darker than hers, and she was definite that once he laid his eyes on this beauty he would die a thousand deaths to be with her.
Anyways, she grinned hesitantly with a raised brow and sipped her wine.
"I was spelled by your beauty, Ary." She complimented. "I can't believe it's indeed you. I mean... look at you. Guys would die to hold you in their arms."
"Thanks," Arielle chewed her mouth while lowering her eyes.
Only if Amanda knew she had been single all these years, she'd pity her beauty. She kept quiet nevertheless.
"How is... how is everyone?" then she decided to change the topic, yet there was a genuine pain in her voice.
Amanda perceived what she meant. In fact, she forecasted this question coming. She didn't find any emotion in her eyes when Arielle opened the door of her house for her except for one- desperation. She was desperate to know about him, which was a good thing.
If what Amanda was planning was to be accomplished... then she was going to need this gorgeous vixen's help.
"Yes, Amanda? H-how's everyone?" Arielle questioned again, her eyes dancing with urgency.
She was dying to know about Liam.
Tbc...
5. She looks ready for the plan!? "Arielle," Amanda gulped the whole content in her glass in one go and smiled, "He's... He's been miserable. He's not doing good. I can say he is merely surviving because he cannot commit suicide like a coward. He misses you everyday." Amanda told her, knowing exactly who she was referring to. She watched Arielle's expression change into a pained one. Except she didn't let it stay obvious and quickly blinked her eyes to compose herself and coughed. "And... and everyone else?" Arielle looked away. 'You both are the same. You want each other but won't let it show on your face.' Amanda mused. "Allister's good... we're married now, and planning to expand our family." She put some strands of her loose hair behind her ear. "Congratulations!" Arielle exclaimed happily, "I'm so happy for you two." "Thanks," Amanda replied. "We got married a few months ago." "And others? Like... uh, you know." Arielle hesitated to complete her question. Taking her hand,
6. You want me to be his unfortunate bride? "You aren't happy that Liam is miserable?" Amanda's words made a chill run down her spine. Why that question all of a sudden? When did Liam become a part of this discussion? Arielle's expression once again changed into a pained one as soon as Amanda mentioned his name, but she shook her head. "Of course not, why would I ever want him to be unhappy?" She looked away. "Exactly... I know how to bring him out of his misery, and you're the only way this can happen." Amanda told her with a small smile. "What?" Her heart throbbed, still confused. Then Amanda searched through her side bag and presented a card of the agency Arielle had submitted her photograph to. Amanda also showed some pictures of her that the agency gave to her. "H-how did you get to know about this agency? A-and.. And..." She stuttered, her color draining out. "D-did you tell Liam about it?" Suddenly her face became pale as if she was scared of Liam knowing about he
7. I never dated another guy. I just love him. "I'm sorry.. I.. I thought it was time for you two to reunite. Maybe I was wrong." She gave Arielle a glass of water. "I am sorry... I am sorry to bother you. I should not have come here. Pretend that this meeting never happened." Mouth dropping in bewilderment and eyes oozing pain, Arielle lifted her stunned face. After bringing back old memories and the wishes of being together with Liam, she was asking her to forget him. "What? It's you who said Liam is not good for a husband." Amanda remarked, reading her eyes. "I.. I never said that." "That's what you mean, isn't it?" "You can't expect me to accept him as if nothing happened between us? I am angry, can't you see." Arielle wiped her face. She drank some water and closed her eyes. Hell yeah, she wanted to be with Liam. That's what she's been praying for ever since they seperated six years ago. She wanted his big arms to hold her, pamper her and kiss her worries away. She w
8. Back into his arms after running away for 6 years Arielle's POV I shot two bottles of wine later that evening below my throat. Because I was on cloud nine. Earlier I had a so-called reason to be happy but after Amanda visited me, I realized there could be no better reason for my happiness than getting to unite with Liam. I pulled out a black thick diary from under the mattress and opened it. There were all the necessary cut outs of rough pages of newspaper, glossy pages of magazines of Liam smiling at cameras. "I missed you so much, Liam. Can't believe we're going to unite again." Tears filled my eyes. I stared at his pictures in different shades in my diary and kissed them one by one. He does not know about me but since I separated and left my family six years ago, I could not stop from following up with him. The fact was that I truly depended on him as a lover. I've tried my best to forget and avoid him for five and half years, but just as I shifted back to Vegas, my
9. I hope he misses my body too Arielle's Pov Life has not been very good for me. Being abandoned six years ago due to a mistake I innocently committed for the wellbeing of others, it's taken every fragment in me to survive. Only I know how I managed to survive all these years. My parents and everyone else disowned me. I was living my life alone while pretending to be happy with everything. I celebrated, sometimes didn't, Christmas and thanksgiving alone. I went to see fireworks at night soone on new year's eve. I cut my own cakes on my birthdays— sometimes spent them crying in bed for the whole day after locking myself in my room. Many— I mean men mostly, tried to be a part of my life but I can't let them in. It's not that I didn't try. I did a lot. It's just that my past haunts me a lot. Everytime I went to a date, I knew it wasn't supposed to be. I compared those guys with Liam and offended not them by turning them down but myself too. That's the reason why I was sipping my
10. A meeting with his bride "Hi... Liam." was the text he received that night. Liam was in the elevator, going down to the parking. It was 1.30 am, he stared at his wrist watch and sighed. He didn't usually work so late, but ah, when he wanted to not let irrational thoughts cloud his brain, he did. Which was... everyday. Last six years have been laborious. But the fruit of it was sweet and Liam savored every bit of it. His pictures in magazines and name on television satisfied him. His sleepless nights were not going in vain. That's all that mattered. Liam gawked at the message throughout his journey down to the car parking. He wanted to perceive who it could be before sending a response. He couldn't recognize the number, so he defeatedly texted back, since he had no energy to guess any longer, "Who is this?" An instant reply came. "Hii, it's Arya." His eyebrows joined his forehead as he raised them in amazement. 'Arya, that's... that's the nickname I gave her.' Lia
11. His bride resembles his ex-girlfriend!? "I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm sorryyyyyyyy." A smile covered his lips. This reply was hardly expected. But this girl herself was a package of surprises. "I'm so sorry, Liam. I came but I couldn't find you... my phone was dead too so I couldn't text you either... sorry!" Liam calmed down. This was okay as it was an honest mistake. Perhaps they could reschedule. He thought as he stared at her status 'typing...' eagerly waiting to see what else she had to say. "I looked everywhere in the cafe then gave up. I hope it's not offensive enough to call off our meeting? Please forgive me. I truly didn't mean to offend you. I am… sorry." he can imagine her dropping her head in despair. Liam's mind automatically drifted back to the mysterious lady in the cafe, and he immediately asked her, "What were you wearing?" Her reply came quickly, "A red crop top with black denims and black pencil heels." Before Liam could calm his mind down, he messag
12. Can't see her face for he was busy staring at her tempting figure The next day, Liam told Allister about his phone conversation with Arya, and how he wanted to marry her. Allister broke into an excited smirk upon hearing this. "Well Liam, Arya is really a nice girl. I've met her myself," he assured Liam. "Trust me she will keep you very very very happy. You won't be able to ask for better... she's perfect for you, bro." Liam smiled positively at his friend, happy to hear good things about Arya. Yet, somewhere in his chest, something tightened— like lost love. "I still don't know what she looks like Allister." He confessed. "But she has a really nice figure." Liam could only recall what she looked like from the back. That's what kept him excited. If he wanted to dig into her complete history, he wouldn't have liked to play this way. This was fun. Not to forget the photographs. They were in his bedroom in the drawer of his bedside table. If he desired, he could have asked Al
