Chapter 59

Lexie’s POV

Before we knew it we were boarding the catamaran as party music played and we were asked if we would like a drink. Samuel and I decided on the Jamaican punch that they had already pre-made as we found an area to sit while we waited on a few couples to board with us.

After the couples were aboard we headed out into the water towards a coral reef where we were to go snorkeling. I’d never been snorkeling before this and I was super excited to finally get my chance. As we neared the reef one of the guides began to show us the basics of snorkeling and I watched him closely so that I didn’t make a fool of myself in front of Samuel.

Samuel on the other hand went to the bar to get us another drink and I am guessing this wasn’t his first time snorkeling because he wasn’t paying any attention to the guide. When he returned with our drinks, he wrapped his arm around me, and I snuggled into him as we waited for the boat to anchor.
