Chapter 13

Alessia's POV

Natalia's eyes were SHARP as she checked her room with the help of her assistants. I just stood there quietly, and even though I was tired, I didn't think about it anymore. Even though it's easy to clean, that doesn't mean it's not tiring. It's almost drained my energy because of those mountains of clothes I washed today. It's just luck that my hand didn't fall apart from the mess earlier.

Based on Natalia's reaction, she is not happy with what she sees. I think he expected me not to finish what he was asking me to do so he would have a reason to punish me. But what right does he have to punish me? I may be abiding by her whims but I am not one of her people. As far as I remember, he had no right to punish me especially since I was not under his jurisdiction. But that doesn't mean he can't do anything to me. She can always use underhanded tricks just to attack me.

"It's clean." He commented while holding a goblet filled with bright red wine. "Oops, not again." She smiled
