Meeting an old friend

*A HOTEL, IN–THE CITY*

It was noon, and somewhere in the city, Harry and Veronica were having fun in a luxurious five-hotel.

Inside the room, Harry and Veronica were lying on the bed, tangled up in each other's arms.

Veronica was half naked, and so was Harry too.

They had come here to celebrate Scarler’s death.

Veronica seductively leaned in to kiss Harry on the lips, a soft smile on her face.

"I'm so glad you got rid of Scarlet," she said.

Harry felt a pang of regret at the mention of Scarlet. He had never wanted to hurt her, but the contract was too important to pass up.

He tried to shake off the feeling as he smiled wickedly at Veronica. "I'll do whatever it takes to get that contract," he said, his eyes gleaming with determination.

Veronica gazed at him with a mix of admiration, she knew how much the contract meant to him.

“I guess our deal is over, but make sure not even a fly will hear of our little secret,” she giggled, looking at his eyes.
