At Mrs. Brown's residence, Scarlet, Sam, and Nicolas were anxiously waiting for the police to arrive.

They were hoping the police would catch the person who had poisoned Mrs. Brown.

They were also worried about her critical condition at the hospital.

Veronica, on the other hand, was feeling exceedingly nervous. She was the one who had poisoned Mrs. Brown, and she was frightened that the police would find out.

Mr oaks would sometimes give her a reassuring glance that everything would be fine.

As soon as the police arrived, and they began interviewing everyone about what had happened.

They asked the group a series of questions, trying to gather as much information as possible.

"Can you tell us exactly what happened?" one of the officers asked.

"My granny drank the wine which was meant for me and she started screaming in pain before she lost unconscious on the dining floor," Scarlet explained.

“We think someone poisoned her." she added.
