Chapter 7

When  he entered inside,  the sales lady ask him directly.

“Hello sir, good afternoon , are you here to buy a house? "

Joshua smiled at her and said , 

 "maybe? Do you have any brochures about the houses here?" "Yes we have , just wait for a while sir ,I will take it for you,"  as sales lady smile at him .

Joshua was keep looking for the other houses and there is one caught attention to him . 

A very huge and expensive house in the diamond valley. 

He keep looking for that house and there's an other sales lady coming to him .

"Ah excuse me, what are you looking for?”

“Are you here to buy a house?"

Joshua answered her,

“Ahh, miss how about this house?”( He’s pointing to the very huge house)

“How much is this?”

The sales lady was not in mood when she heard what Joshua said. She thought that this boy was just make fun and prank only so,  she look down on him and said ,

" Oh, that one? Are you out of your mind?”

“Oh, come on boy”

“ better to leave here and study first before asking the price of this house.”

“Maybe for sure after you graduate and have a better job I will tell you to the price of this house."

Joshua  feel embarrassed what she said .

" Maybe you misunderstood miss, I really wanted to know the price of this house ."

The sales lady was lost her temper and shouted him right away .

“Much better get out of here!”

“I don't have time to talked such a poor garbage like you!” She mocked Joshua and gritted her teeth .

When the first sales lady noticed that her client Joshua  was insulted and mocked by the other sales lady ,

She immediately come and asked joshua to come with her .

The sales lady who was look down on joshua said,

 "Better keep away that pretentious and poor kid !”

“Are you blind ? Don’t  waste your time him ,”

“call the security to drag him outside !" the angry sales lady said.

" Ah sir, here's the brochure,   you can choose the houses what you want.”

“ Please don't mind her , I'm  really sorry of what she said."  Sales lady sincerely  apologized to joshua .

"No need to say sorry , it's just only a little misunderstood .”

“ By the way, I  want to know the price of that house”

 ( he is pointing to the only outstanding house that caught attention by his eyes)

The sales lady was stunned for a while, "Ah , that's house sir? right? “ she thought that is this person was really interested to buy this house? 

A quite long that there's no one would interest to buy this house because it's too much expensive and  only a hundred million dollar of asset can afford to buy this house.

When she came to her senses, the sales lady introduced Joshua to the house .

"This house  was very expensive and it cost thirty million of dollar .”

“ This house was built three years ago and no one have interest to buy because of the price .”

“Are you  interested to buy this house sir? " sales lady asked him.

" Yes , please take and swipe my card." 

Joshua didn’t hesitate to buy that house when he heard all the benefits said the sales lady.

The sales lady was stunned and confused of what Joshua said.

 She went to the cashier to swipe Joshua’s card.

The cashier ask her ," 

Are you sure, that guy wanted to buy that house?" Asking with doubtfully .

"Yes, actually I can't imagine if how this card work"  the sales lady answered her.

When their branch manager heard what they talking about . 

He ask immediately who was the guy wanted to buy the most expensive house today. 

The sales lady pointing to Joshua while was sitting and waiting for them .

The branch manager mocked to  the sales lady and said , 

" what? that guy? Seriously? He is like a student and maybe he is just fooling us!" 

"Well, we just try to swipe his card to know if he is lying. " the sales lady talk with a beautiful smile .

"Go a ahead , and if that card was decline.”

“Don't hesitate to call the police and let him suffer into the jail for causing us into  trouble ." the manager said.

When the cashier swipe it ,they’re all shocked and even can't believe what was happening .

Their eyes was big as they saw a ghost in the monitor. 

  The manager cant believe and tried to check if it's true. When they came to their senses ,  the three of them  are all sweating and don't know what to do.

"Pl. Please,  t ..take care and give him a highest service and treat him as our most VIP client."  the manager said in uttering voice .

The saleslady was still in dilemma while  holding the bank card of Joshua.

" Sir, please take your card,”

“The payment was successfully done and thank you so much sir ."

As the sales lady said .

The sales lady who was insulted Joshua was next to them was also dumbfounded when she heard it. She come to them and said ,

“ miss Mia, what did you say? This man bought this house fully paid ? "

"Yes,  he bought this house worth thirty million dollars in just one blink."

Then she called Joshua immediately after she replied to the woman who insulted Joshua. 

" Please come with me in the office for the settlement of some documents sir"  saleslady  said.

The sales lady who was look down and insulted Joshua was dumbfounded and can't believe what was happening . 

She knelt down and cried and very regretful what she'd done today, 

She realized what if I am the one who entertain him .

He bought house worth  thirty million dollars  and the commission was very huge it  was 10%percent for the manager and 5%percent for the sales day.

......the day after he bought house ......

Joshua heard a car loud horn in front of the old house of  his former foster parents, 

He slept in the old house first while there were no tools and furniture in the new house he brought.

When he looked whose car was parked in front of his house,

 He saw Emmie inside . 

He immediately straightened himself and quickly went to Emmie.

Emmie lowered her car window

" Young master ,Good morning,  did I disturb you ?” As Emmie said

"Nope, how did you know my old house?”  Joshua ask her.

"Of course in your family connection it is not difficult to find this old house,”

“ and so I am here because you didn't show up yesterday at the cafe we talked about ." as Emmie explain to joshua

"I'm so sorry Emmie, I forget what we  talked about,”

“ by the way what do you want to say? " Joshua ask

"Mr.rodulf wants me to teach you all the things you should know about your family business".Emmie said

Emmie handed the files to joshua and explained them one by one.

"Your family owns more than 50 hospitals and the annual income is over three hundred billion dollars, twenty large malls which is annually income is two hundred billion dollars, ten famous universities whose annual income is one hundred billion dollars.”

 the biggest business your family owns is the Vanlimz real state company whose annual income is five hundred billion dollars, your total annual family income is one trillion one hundred thousand dollars.”Emmie explained accurately to Joshua.

Joshua turned pale and couldn't believe what Emmie had said to him,  he could not believe his family's annual income.

"Other than that, is there anything else important I should know?"  

Joshua asking to her

"Yes there are four large real state companies that support Vanlimz real state company,”

“There is the diamond group of companies that supply constructions materials, there is also Victorious group of companies that are planning for the buildings to be built,”

“There is north valley group of companies  that responsible for purchasing lands and the highest of the four is the rising finance group of companies where  all  responsible to set the budget of the  three real states". Emmie explained to joshua .

"Thank you Emmie,I learned a lot about it,”

“by the way, can you join me for a while at the mall to buy household items and furniture?”

“ because I still do not know when it comes to what brand of home appliances and furniture that are good quality." Joshua said

"Yeah sure why not " Emmie replied

About 400 thousand dollars they bought for household items and furniture.

A mall manager approached and said at the same time

 "sir, can you sign our paper for the delivery of your household items and furniture?"

"Can you deliver the items today?" Joshua asked the manager

"Yes sir, and our company will take care of putting and arranging the household items and furniture you bought and this is a free service." The manager replied.

At the house of Joshua....

"Take care of that, you still have less than a year's salary when you break that,"   the loud voice of a team leader of the group who arranging the furniture and household items.

And when they have finished putting and arranging household items.

The team leader of the team  was approached to joshua immediately

"Excuse me sir, Our team is done arranging the furniture and all the household items in an accurate position,”

“Do you want to change anything in the arrangement of the furniture and household items sir?"  The team leader asked with a smile on his face.

"I'm comfortable, the household and furniture are very well organized, thank you very much." Joshua replied when the staff left, Emmie and joshua were left in the new big house

Joshua said, 

“What do you think Emmie in my new house?"

"Well, the arrangement of the household items and the furniture is not bad and  its very organized it looks like a new version of ancient European style ,”

“by the way, your parents are telling me to get ready for a big occasion next month".  Said Emmie

"So who will attend that occasion?" Joshua asked hesitantly

"Well, most of the attendees on the upcoming occasion are relatives of your family and big businessmen here in duclin city.”

“There are also a few guests coming from America and Europe on this important occasion". Emmie explained to joshua
