Chapter 32: All Eyes

Today would be surely more exhausting than yesterday. Why?

Because Kane and I happened to have the same schedule.

When I went out of my room, I saw him preparing the table for the two of us. His hair was still wet and he was not dressed in his tracksuit which made me remember that today both of us have an early class.

After eating, I put down my spoon and blurted out what I have been thinking.

"Can we go to school in separate ways?"

Kane was also done eating. He raised his dark brow, "Why? Both of us have the same direction so why not one of us hitch the ride? If you want, I can drive your car."

"No." I immediately answered.

I could not afford to be seen with Kane even though there were fewer students around early in the morning. He drove me to the school yesterday and although he did not come out of the car and drove away, my heart had been tense for fear someone would spot me coming out of Kane's car.
