Chapter 2.

Aurora's POV.

The door stood open just a crack, as if someone wanted it that way. That's when I could hear Richard's soft moans more louder... There he was, bare, kneeling on the bed, with a woman also naked, down on all fours in front of him, her back turned toward him... Her rear end was pressed up against him, and his C**k was deep inside her, feeling every inch. One hand gripped her hair, pulling her closer, while the other slid around her waist, driving into her with urgency...

It felt like someone shot me in the heart. I was shaking, rage brewing inside me. My sight started to blur as I took in this betrayal... I still hadn't seen the woman's face yet. And just then, I heard Richard moan... again.

"Oh Fuck, fuck... shit... you're so wet and sweet Ru" He groaned as he thrust against her backside.

Ru? Hearing that name sent chills down my spine.

My hand trembled as I pushed the door open a crack more. A sliver of light revealed the nightmare within.

My head swam. It couldn't be. I had to see properly. I eased the door open wider, the hinges groaning softly.

It was Ruby.

My stomach lurched. I pressed a hand to my mouth, trying to stifle a sob. Richard... and Ruby? My breath hitched. My Richard. Everything felt surreal, like a twisted dream.

It felt like I got hit in the throat, and suddenly my legs just felt like they were floating.

This time, he runs his fingers up to her big breasts, big enough that his palms can easily cup them. He starts to squeeze her nipples so hard, while keeping his other hand on her hip, thrusting hard and rough as her body quivers with pleasure.

"Richyy, keep going," Ruby moaned, her voice thick with longing. "Um, um... yes, yes, just like that... give it to me harder." She gasped, pushing herself against Richard's firm body for more pressure.

I just stood there, frozen. I felt like I couldn't breathe or swallow. The air was thick with their sounds, with their betrayal.

I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes... my fingers clenched into fists... I was stuck there, unable to move, as I watched the betrayal unfold. Ruby, of all people? And Richard, the only man I’d ever truly loved? I was shaking...

"Ruby, I'm about to lose it... damn! Fuck! This feels.... so damn good ahhh!" He gasped.

She grinds back, panting as he dives deeper into her pu**y With each thrust, her screams echo, and her body trembles for more, craving the force behind his movements. Richard can’t hold back his moans, lost in the waves of pleasure.

Oh, baby... I'm about to explode... Tell me... tell me you love me... more than that ugly bitch! Please tell me!!". With every thrust, Ruby's moans became louder, the heat between her legs rising like a flame.

A wave of nausea washed over me. "Ugly bitch?" That was me. She was talking about me. But that was just the beginning...

"Fuck, Ruby... I love you! More than anyone..."

Each word was a shard of glass, piercing my heart. He said it. He actually said it. I'd never heard him say those words to me.

 No...

I watched as Ruby buried her face in the pillow, making soft moans, while Richard grunted and groaned like a wild animal. They were completely immersed in their own little world, totally unaware of my presence.

I wanted to scream, to run, to disappear. But my feet were rooted to the spot. This was my life crumbling before my eyes. The pain was like nothing I'd ever felt. The love of my life, cheating on me with my step sister. And telling her he loved her, in the middle of what they were doing.

I step back slowly, tears now streaming down my face,  I knew, at that moment, my life had been changed forever.

I dashed out the door, slamming it shut behind me on purpose, I wanted them to hear it loud and clear. Tears streamed down my face as I walked along the streets. Then, I stumbled into a crowded area where I dropped down in a little corner by the sidewalk. Everyone was staring at me, their faces were a mix of curiosity and pity. I didn't care. Let them watch. Let them judge.

My world had just shattared.

Suddenly, I grabbed my phone to call Rachel, my best friend. It feels like ages since we last talked. All this drama is thanks to Richard... She mentioned seeing him and Ruby together, but I just couldn't believe it. I just thought she was just jealous that I found someone.

I'd even snapped at her, told her to stop "interfering." Now, she was all I had. The only one I could even think of calling.

The phone rang, once, twice, then clicked as Rachel answered.

"Hey, Aurora..." Her voice was low,a low growl of annoyance. I could practically feel the tension radiating through the phone.

I swallowed, trying to force the words past the lump in my throat. "He...l...lo." My voice hitched and cracked.

The moment she heard the sob clinging to the word, the iciness in her voice melted away. "Aurora? What’s wrong? Talk to me." She was all concern now, her voice tight with worry.

The truth burst out of me, a messy, incoherent flood. "Rich...ard... and Ruby... they... they... they've been fucking. I caught them." My body shook with each word, the betrayal a physical blow.

"What? What the fuck?" There was a pause, a sharp intake of breath. "Wait, just... hold on. I'll be right there. Text me your location, immediately!"

I fumbled with my phone, thumbing in the address of the corner I was huddled in. My thoughts were gone, replaced by a constant state of agony. I just sat there, trying to process the image seared into my brain. Richard. Ruby. Together.

Then, everything shifted. The roar of an engine, skidding tires, and suddenly, Rachel was there. She’d practically flown, her eyes wide with concern as she jumped out of her sleek black car.

I saw Rachel walking towards me. "Rora," she called, her voice soft. I looked up, my eyes already stinging with tears. She reached me and gently tugged at my arms, trying to help me up from where I was slumped on the ground.

"Damn it, Aurora! What the hell? Why are you just sitting here... all alone?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

I couldn't answer. The energy had just drained out of me completely.

But Rachel didn't push me to talk. She carefully helped me into her car, being so gentle. I leaned my head back against the seat, trying to relax as she got in on the other side and started the engine.

"Hey," she said, trying to sound reassuring. "Don't worry. I'm gonna take you somewhere. I know you usually hate places like this..." She paused, and I glanced at her. She was forcing a smile, trying to lift my spirits.

Then she continued, "But, Aurora, you need to chill out, okay? For once, just loosen up. Truth is, you need a good..." She hesitated for a split second, then went on, "...fuck. You need to open up. You can't stay a virgin forever. Some guy gotta tear up your pu**y walls..."

Something about what she said struck a chord. It was almost... tempting. The guy I was meant to lose my virginity with, the one I loved...had broken my heart. Now i was just crushed. Maybe it would be better with a stranger after all.

I kept my gaze fixed on the road ahead, trying to process everything.

******

"This is it," Rachel said, nodding towards a dimly lit building. It was a bar, but from the outside, it looked surprisingly…calm. I wasn't sure what I expected, but it was definitely a contrast to Rachel's usual vibe.

We stepped inside, and bam. The sound hit me like a wall. Loud music, a buzzing crowd, the smell of beer and something vaguely sweet... it was sensory overload.

"RACHHHHYYY!"

The shout cut through the noise. We both turned. It was a girl, waving like mad, practically jumping up and down. Rachel grinned. "Oh, that's Jenny."

Jenny bounced over to us. Her top was...small, And her skirt? One wrong move, and she'd be flashing everyone.

"Hey, Jenny!" Rachel said, pulling her into a quick hug. "Jenny, this is Aurora my bestie."

"Hey! Nice to meet you!" Jenny squeezed my hand, her eyes already darting around the room. "Come on, I snagged a table. Let's get drinks!"

We followed her through the crowd to a sticky table in a corner. I ordered a vodka soda, trying to appear nonchalant. Innocent even. But beneath the surface... I could hold my liquor. Learned that skill young. My dad… well, let’s just say he wasn’t a great guy to me and my mum. Drinks were the only escape sometimes, a temporary shield against the constant yelling, the tension, the… everything when he was still married to my mum.

After a couple of drinks, the noise started to feel less overwhelming, more… comforting, almost. Still, a restlessness was growing inside me.

"I'm going to grab some air," I mumbled, excusing myself. Rachel barely seemed to notice, already deep in conversation with Jenny.

I wandered away from the table as walked into the crowd. It was a relief for about a minute. I staggered slightly. I wasn't drunk. Not really. Tipsy, maybe. Numb, definitely.

A dark thought slithered into my head, unbidden. A reckless, destructive thought, —Tonight, I told myself, the next guy i bump into… I'm going to Fuck him—. It was a horrible, impulsive decision, but at that moment, it felt like the only way to reclaim some kind of control.

Lost in that messed-up internal monologue, I wasn't paying attention. My heel caught on something—a loose floorboard maybe—and I stumbled. My arms windmilled, uselessly grasping at air. I was going down.

Then, suddenly, strong hands grabbed me. I felt myself falling… but into someone’s embrace.

In my space. But I got up anyway. The bed was cold beside me—Luther had already left the room. I moved quickly. Bathed. Dressed. Tied my hair up into a rough bun. I didn’t care to look pretty. Not this morning.I walked downstairs, and there they were—like a picture I didn’t ask to see. All seated at the dining table, having breakfast like one big happy family. Mother. Maya. Ruby. And Luther—calm, eating his food like nothing was wrong. The moment they saw me, something in the air shifted. Their voices dropped. Eyes turned. Except Luther—he looked up once, then went back to chewing his bread like he hadn’t noticed the tension growing in the room.“Come. Sit here,” he said without emotion, putting more bread into his mouth. “You need to eat.”I moved forward, eyes skimming the table. Bread, eggs, cheese,

I didn’t look back at him. My chest was heaving, and my throat still ached from all the coughing. My legs trembled under me, but I didn’t care. I just needed to get out of that room. Out of the thick smoke. Away from the coldness he wore like a second skin.“I need to get away from this room,” I said softly, not turning. “You’re angry, Luther. I don’t know what happened with your business, but whatever it is, it has nothing to do with me. I don’t see why I should be the one to carry your temper.”“You’re not going anywhere, Aurora,” he snapped, and before I could react, he strode over and yanked my hand off the maid’s shoulder.“Luther, stop this madness!” I shouted, my voice barely rising above a croak. Our room. Then I felt something pulling slightly on my wrist. I turned my head to the side, weakly, and saw the drip taped into my skin. The clear fluid inside the tube was slowly running down into me. I blinked again, trying to make sense of the stiffness in my body and the dryness in my throat. My head pounded, and my lips were cracked. Everything ached. Then I heard the voice.“Mr. Hawthorne, your wife needs enough rest. If she doesn’t get it, it might result in a miscarriage…”My heart dropped.I forced my eyes toward the direction of the voice. Luther was standing across the room, near the big window, his arms folded

Aurora's POV. Shocked And Surprises. "No way..." I muttered to myself as Luther walked out of the kitchen. The moment the door clicked shut behind him, I leaned over the sink again and splashed another handful of cold water on my face. The sting of it did nothing to ease the heaviness in my chest.Behind me, I could feel her eyes burning into my back. Maya was still there, standing with her arms folded, a wide, smug grin stretched across her face like she’d just won something."So," she finally said, her voice dripping with fake sweetness, "Luther—my dear brother—doesn’t want your child.
