Aurora’s POV.

Richard's Quick Marriage.

“And where do you think you’re going?” Luther’s voice rang out behind us, sharp enough to freeze us mid-step.

The maid and I paused immediately, my weight still leaning heavily on her shoulder. I didn’t look back at him. My chest was heaving, and my throat still ached from all the coughing. My legs trembled under me, but I didn’t care. I just needed to get out of that room. Out of the thick smoke. Away from the coldness he wore like a second skin.

“I need to get away from this room,” I said softly, not turning.

“You’re angry, Luther. I don’t know what happened with your business, but whatever it is, it has nothing to do with me. I don’t see why I should be the one to carry your temper.”

“You’re not going anywhere, Aurora,” he snapped, and before I could react, he strode over and yanked my hand off the maid’s shoulder.

“Luther, stop this madness!” I shouted, my voice barely rising above a croak. My whole body felt weak, but I forced myself to

  • In The Arms Of My Ex's Elder Brother   My Own Fear Came!!

Aurora's POV. “Luther, you can’t be serious,” I snapped as I stepped into the room, voice rising a bit without meaning to.He stopped halfway to the bathroom, a towel hanging around his neck.He wasn’t wearing a shirt, and his trousers sat low on his waist, showing the hair around his lower stomach… and close to his private area.God.I shook the thought off and walked straight up to him, anger heating up my chest.“What the hell was that downstairs?” I demanded. “I said I wasn’t going to eat anything my sister gave me, but you—” my voice cracked, “you just had to go against me. Right in front of everyone. You made a decision for me like I don’t matter.”He didn’t flinch. But his eyes were sharp now. Cold.“Aurora, what the hell is wrong with you?” he snapped. “You’re always angry, irritated, and for what? I don’t even know how to deal with you anymore. Take a damn break already.”“No! I’m not eating it,” I fired back. “Not even if you force me.”His hand shot out fast and grabbed m

  • In The Arms Of My Ex's Elder Brother   The Good Bad Sister.

Aurora’s POV. The Good Bad Sister.Another day came too fast. I didn’t want it. I didn’t want to open my eyes and be reminded that Ruby was now living in this house. In this mansion. In my space. But I got up anyway. The bed was cold beside me—Luther had already left the room. I moved quickly. Bathed. Dressed. Tied my hair up into a rough bun. I didn’t care to look pretty. Not this morning.I walked downstairs, and there they were—like a picture I didn’t ask to see. All seated at the dining table, having breakfast like one big happy family. Mother. Maya. Ruby. And Luther—calm, eating his food like nothing was wrong. The moment they saw me, something in the air shifted. Their voices dropped. Eyes turned. Except Luther—he looked up once, then went back to chewing his bread like he hadn’t noticed the tension growing in the room.“Come. Sit here,” he said without emotion, putting more bread into his mouth. “You need to eat.”I moved forward, eyes skimming the table. Bread, eggs, cheese,

  • In The Arms Of My Ex's Elder Brother   Luther's Cold Distance.

Aurora's POV. Luther's Cold Distance. My eyes fluttered open slowly, like they were weighted down with bricks. Everything felt... heavy. My limbs, my chest, even my breathing. I couldn't move my hands. I couldn't move anything at all.I lay still, staring at the ceiling above me, my eyes adjusting to the dim light of the room. Familiar. Too familiar.Luther’s room. Our room. Then I felt something pulling slightly on my wrist. I turned my head to the side, weakly, and saw the drip taped into my skin. The clear fluid inside the tube was slowly running down into me. I blinked again, trying to make sense of the stiffness in my body and the dryness in my throat. My head pounded, and my lips were cracked. Everything ached. Then I heard the voice.“Mr. Hawthorne, your wife needs enough rest. If she doesn’t get it, it might result in a miscarriage…”My heart dropped.I forced my eyes toward the direction of the voice. Luther was standing across the room, near the big window, his arms folded

  • In The Arms Of My Ex's Elder Brother   My Husband Left  Me weak!

Aurora's POV. My Husband Left Me weak!“Well, well, well… It’s good everything came straight from your mouth, Aurora,” Richard said with a mocking grin.“I mean, if anyone else in this family had spilled the truth—that we used to date—you probably would’ve turned it into a war, huh?”Then, with a smirk, he lifted his hand and shaped it into a fake gun, pointing it to his temple like he was shooting himself mockingly.Luther’s gaze snapped to him, a deadly fire flashing in his eyes.Richard saw it and chuckled.“Don’t look at me like that, brother. Hold your wife responsible. She should’ve told you about her past.Or… are you both gonna stand here and tell us your marriage is built on secrets and lies?”He let out a loud, arrogant laugh, tossing his head back, enjoying every second of the chaos. That was it.Luther released my arm in one swift move. Before anyone could even register what was happening—Luther’s hand cracked hard across Richard’s face, sending him stumbling back a ste

  • In The Arms Of My Ex's Elder Brother   The Devil Made Me Say It!!

Aurora's POV. 78. Richards Game Tonight!.I pushed open the giant doors at the entrance. My heart was still racing in my chest, and Luke followed silently behind me, not saying a word.My heels clicked softly against the floor as I stepped inside. The room was filled with soft lighting, decorations everywhere—baby-themed. I froze when I saw the centerpiece.A large banner in gold cursive read:“Congratulations, Aurora Hawthorne.”Below it, balloons, cutouts of a pregnant woman, and pink-and-blue lights twinkled around. My breath caught in my throat. Was this a joke?A trap?Heads began to turn. Whispers. Smiles. Then Luther turned too, from where he stood with a group of men. Not just any guests—his mafia friends. Tattooed arms, scarred faces, men who killed without blinking.Luther started walking toward me.His hand slid under my arm gently, his intense eyes locking into mine like he could see everything I was thinking.“What… what is this, Luther?” I stammered, barely managing to

  • In The Arms Of My Ex's Elder Brother   Shocked And Surprises.

Aurora's POV. Shocked And Surprises. "No way..." I muttered to myself as Luther walked out of the kitchen. The moment the door clicked shut behind him, I leaned over the sink again and splashed another handful of cold water on my face. The sting of it did nothing to ease the heaviness in my chest.Behind me, I could feel her eyes burning into my back. Maya was still there, standing with her arms folded, a wide, smug grin stretched across her face like she’d just won something."So," she finally said, her voice dripping with fake sweetness, "Luther—my dear brother—doesn’t want your child. I mean, it’s obvious, isn’t it? You’re only his wife for one thing. Just sex."She let out a loud, high-pitched laugh that bounced off the walls and made my skin crawl. Then, slowly, she stepped forward and placed her hands on my shoulders, one at a time. I didn’t flinch, but my entire body tensed under her touch."I don’t know how many times I have to say this to you before it gets through your pre

  • In The Arms Of My Ex's Elder Brother   Luther's Anger.

Aurora's POV. Luther's Anger. I didn’t know what day it was anymore.Everything felt like a blur. My body heavy. My head constantly aching. Sleep was the only thing I had the energy for. I stayed curled under the covers most of the time. Moving took too much effort. Even breathing felt like a chore.I didn’t want to see anyone. I didn’t want to hear anything. I just wanted silence. But silence never lasted long in this house.“Come on, get up,” Luther’s voice came sharp and flat from across the room.I kept my back to him, curling deeper into the sheets.“Luther… can’t you at least let me be?” I whispered, my voice cracking under the weight in my chest. “Can’t I get a minute to breathe properly?”He didn’t answer right away. I heard the shift of his boots as he walked closer, then the bed dipped beside me. I felt his heat, his presence. He was sitting right at the edge, but I still didn’t turn around. That didn’t stop him.He leaned in and turned me to face him, his hand firm but not

  • In The Arms Of My Ex's Elder Brother   Aurora Is Pregnant!

Aurora's POV. Aurora Is Pregnant!I stood frozen, my heart thudding in my chest, eyes locked on Mia as she stumbled toward the exit with mother guiding her like a disgraced dog being dragged out the house. It should’ve felt like a victory. It didn’t.My fingers gripped the edge of the couch, knuckles white. My breath wasn't stable. The silence in the room wasn’t peaceful—it was dangerous. Sharp. Like walking barefoot on broken glass.I watched them walk… one step… two steps…And then something inside me snapped.“Stop!”My voice came out lower than I expected—firm, deadly calm. They both stopped immediately, right at the middle of the hallway, inches away from the front door.Mother turned her head halfway, not fully, just enough to let me know she heard me but didn’t think I was worth turning around for.I rose slowly, arms folded over my chest. My heels clicked against the floor as I walked toward them. I wasn’t rushing. No. This moment needed to be felt.I moved like a ticking tim
