I called him again for the sixth time today but he didn't pick up. It was as if he had been purposely ignoring my call since yesterday and he had every right to. How could I have brought Jason to spend the night at my house, yesterday?

But what could I have done?

I couldn't ignore that call that came in, telling me that Jason has been in an accident and he had been detained for drunk driving. Even though we were no longer together, I couldn't have just ignored him. He was my friend and he had always been there for me. Although, like he said, part of the reason why he hasn't been himself lately was because of me. He was shattered by what I did to him. I couldn't blame him. I only blamed myself for leading him on.

And now, my relationship with Kurt was paying the price for it.

Gripping the bottle of hard liquor in front of me, I downed the remaining contents in the bottle and staggered over to where my fridge was, pulled out another.
