Rosa’s POV

I stared at my phone until it fell off my grip.

This was the kind of PR that could be damaging, and somehow, I was in the centre of it.

I thought of Alex’s reaction. How was he going to handle it? Was he going to barge on the door, yelling at me? Would this be the end of my stay in this place?

I knew how much Alex loved his father from the few days I have stayed here. And I knew how wild the public would be. That was why he never wanted his father’s health status to be out.

And now, it was on every news outlet like an alarm no one could silence.

Maybe it was time I discussed sharing an apartment with Patra. Leaving on my own will would be more dignifying than Alex kicking me out. It would break my stupid heart that was already falling for him.

“Did you see it?” I heard Patra’s voice the moment the line connected.
