Marissa stared at them in confusion, wondering what brought them to her room. "What are you all doing here?" she asked.

"Why didn't you come out for breakfast, and it's already noon?" Miguel questioned.

"I am sorry, Father. I couldn't sleep yesterday," she replied.

"I thought yesterday you told me that you were sleepy when you walked in with Ignacio?" Juan questioned.

Marissa glared at him, annoyed, well aware of his attempt to provoke her. "Big brother, I am sorry I lied to you because I can see my future."

"Don't talk to your brother like that," Miguel scolded.

"It's okay; we will go now. Why don't you take a nice shower, and Lara will bring your lunch?" Rosario suggested.

Miguel walked out, followed by Rosario.

Marissa fixed her gaze on Juan. "And don't you have anything to occupy yourself with?" she inquired, her hand gesturing dismissively. "Oh, I forgot-you're jobless. Why not go and call your perfect, beautiful fiancée, the one with the future ahead of her? A real model
