Patrick and I spent the night wrapped up in each other's arms. It felt wonderful being with him and waking up to his warm body pressed against mine. But while my fingers lightly traced his skin, my mind was full of thoughts. I kept thinking about the many things he'd told me over the past week, especially what he'd said about considering asking me to be his girlfriend when I was younger, and how he'd said he wanted me and wouldn't let me go anymore while we made love. It made me wonder if maybe he was already a little bit in love with me and just hadn't realized it yet.
