"What are you talking about?" he asked, sitting up and rubbing his hands over his lean, angular face. "Sophie, think about what you're saying!"
I got out of bed and pulled my panties on. "I can't believe this."
He put his boxers on shaking his head. "It's all right. We'll just keep it between you and me."
"I can't lie about this," I whispered, tears filling my eyes. "I can't do it."

I finished getting dressed and headed towards the door. I unlocked it and turned the knob. "I got to tell him."
"Dammit Sophie, what the hell is wrong with you!?"
"Maybe if I tell the truth he will forgive me."
He grabbed my wrist and yanked me towards him. "No he won't. Just take a deep breath and get your head on straight."
