Chapter 20: You Can’t Escape Me

Rose's Pov:

As I drive on my bike back to my place my brain is powering so fast all these thoughts popping into my head already creating nightmares that haven't occurred yet.

I'm worried that this time I may or may not have an escape route from Jace he knows who's in my life, also the people that I know, He still hasn't gotten over me It's been one year and six months he could've moved on by now and made someone else miserable but to him, I must be a special case I spat in thought.

As I park in the driveway I see Reece come out with a brotherly comforting smile I feel a sense of relief as I turn my bike off running towards him squeezing him while trembling a bit still Jace plaguing my mind, he pulls me back slightly "Rose come inside will sit down and have a chat okay?" He said

I smile while replying "I'm just an emotional person, your back and I'm really happy" he knows I'm lying he can always tell but doesn't press the topic further knowing I don't want to speak about it any long
