Chapter Fifteen- Week One
Alex's POV
Asher's supposed to be back today but we're 15 minutes into first period and he's not here, I hope nothing happened.
"Why do you look so worried?" Zoe suddenly asked.
"Nothing, I was just t-trying to remember if I left the stove on." I lied.
"We both know you've never laid your hands on any kitchen utensil except from a plate and a spoon." She said, "Or a fork." She continued.
Just as I was about to reply her, the door swung open and in walked Asher, he looked like he just ran, heavy breathing and everything. "Sorry, I'm late." He said and walked to his seat.
"It's fine Mr. Stone." The teacher said then turned back to the board.
Upon hearing that last name uttered, Asher slammed his book on the table, "Mr. Stone?" He asked, confused.
"I'll talk you about it after class." She said.
"No, please tell me now, I want to understand what's going on." He demanded, "Please."

Alex's POV When I woke up, Asher had already left. I stood up and went to brush and take a bath, it's been so long since I took a relaxing bath. While I was dressing up, I saw my phone light up at the corner of my eyes, I went to get it, thinking it was from Cole and I noticed a piece of paper under it with Asher's name scribbled across it.
