Reaching home, I told Ram to take Evan and Bella to their room since they both were asleep.

"Ram, do me a favor and take them to their rooms," I told him.

"Don't worry Miss Bentley, I will," he replied nodding.

I thanked him and went towards the living room where father and Alex both were waiting for me.

"Good Evening," I said, entering the room.

They both looked at me and father replied smiling, "Good Evening, dear."

"Yeah, good evening dear," Alex copied father and put pressure on the word 'dear' at which father started to laugh.

"You want me to punch you, Alex," I said, emotionless.

"Come on Jen, tomorrow is our engagement ceremony but still your behavior towards me is still cold."
