At the end of the run, Jasmine jumped off the board, feeling more exhilarated than she ever had before.

“Great run!” Zain shouted. Then a wave came up, and he laid on the board and started paddling. She waited on the shore, watching as he stood and dropped into the wave at just the right time, catching it just before it crest, jumping off when he got close to shore. When he stood, his hair was slicked back as water glistened on his skin. He was completely and utterly gorgeous.

“Great job!” Jasmine stood on the shore, clapping. “But you could have made a little twist at the end. You know, added some flair,” she teased. She couldn’t just say he was magnificent. After all, the Greek god was probably used to people telling him how great he was.

But to her surprise, he picked up his board and ran toward shore. “Oh, I could, could I?” Then he dropped his board on the shoreline and ran toward her.

“Uh, oh!” Her eyes grew wide, laughing as she ran away.

Then, suddenly, he grabbed her from behind around the waist and started tickling her. “Stop!” she laughed, squirming to get away from his grasp. But through it all, she couldn’t help but notice how perfectly she fit into his arms and against his chest. “Okay! Okay! I give!” she laughed as he released her.

Then she noticed he wore a tooth on a chain around his neck that looked great against his tanned skin. Without thinking, she lifted it from his chest to take a closer look. “Shark’s tooth?” Jasmine looked up into his eyes, and her breath caught. He had the most beautiful brown eyes she had ever seen.

“Yes.” He nodded, looking down at her, making no attempt to release her. Zain must have come to his senses because he dropped his arms and reached up instinctively to feel the smooth tooth. “My uncle gave it to me years ago.”

She arched an eyebrow. “He surfs, too?”

He nodded. “He was the one who taught me how.” Then he took off toward the water and grabbed his board. “Come on! Show me that little flip flare you were telling me about!” Zain ran out into the water, dove onto his board, and paddled out.

Jasmine picked up her board lying on the shore and followed. Man! He was a sight in the morning! She knew she could spend the rest of her life watching him and never get bored. Then she realized what she had just thought and couldn’t believe her thoughts had betrayed her like that. They had just met, after all. But up close, the way his muscles played under his tanned skin, the way the water beaded up on him made her want to lick it off. God, he was gorgeous. She shook her head, forcing herself to focus on surfing.

Suddenly, the energy in the water began to rise, and the sea began to swell in the distance. Jasmine nodded toward it. “You want this one?”

He shook his head. “No, let’s both go.” Then a mischievous smile lit his lips. “I’ll race you!”

“You’re on!” She started paddling alongside him, and then they both dropped into the wave together, but he steered his board away from her, obviously giving her room. But he was close enough that she could still feel his presence. She had never felt as safe in her life as she did at that moment. Also, with as many male friends as she had back in Maine, none of them had affected her how Zain had. Just being near him sent electrical currents through her and made her think things she never had before. She was hyperaware of him, and she had no idea why or how it was possible, but it was.

They surfed together throughout the morning, and then he asked, “So, are you getting hungry?”

She nodded. “A little. Are you?”

Zain’s eyes opened wide. “Starving! I think I’ve worked up an appetite out here.”

Jasmine laughed. “So, you want to come to our apartment for lunch?”

Zain shook his head. “No, but I’d like to take you to get something to eat.”

Her smile fell. Even though she trusted him and felt comfortable surfing with him, going somewhere alone with him was another story.

He must have read her expression because his eyes suddenly grew wide. “No! I didn’t mean for us to leave here. My uncle owns a restaurant and a food truck business, and he usually parks it not far from here toward the pier. Wanna go?”

Jasmine nodded but motioned with her head toward the apartment. “Let me tell my mom where I’m going first. We can leave the boards there, too.”

Zain tilted his head to the side. “Why don’t we leave our boards in the back of my truck? Then we can walk down toward the pier?”

“I’ll just take my board to the apartment.” Jasmine grabbed her board and headed off. “Be right back!” She just hoped he waited for her and didn’t leave without saying goodbye. At his age and being a college student, he wasn’t required to check in with his parents, and neither was she, but she didn’t want her mom to worry.

“Mom! I’ll be right back!” She yelled, leaning her board against the wall as she tied her beach wrap around her waist.

“Okay!” she shouted back, her voice coming from the kitchen. Then she appeared in the doorway. “Where are you going?”

Jasmine smiled, fixing her leather bracelet back in place. “To a get something to eat. Zain’s uncle has a food truck.”

A crease formed between her mother’s eyes. “Who’s Zain?”

Jasmine shrugged, slipping on her shoes. “Just a boy I met surfing. He’s really good!”

A broad grin spread across her mother’s lips. “A boy, huh?”

“Mom!” Jasmine started toward the door as she quickly ran a brush through her hair and tied her hair back.

“Stop!” Her mother dug into her purse. “Let me get you some money in case you need it.”

“Mom! He’s waiting!” she adjusted her ponytail in the mirror by the door, wishing she had enough time to slap on a little makeup.

Her mother waved a bill in front of her. Jasmine reached up but her mother jerked it back. “Are you sure you trust him?”

Jasmine let out an exaggerated sigh. “Yes, Mom! We’re only going to his uncle’s food truck here on the beach, and we’re not going anywhere else.”

“Okay.” She smiled as she gave Jasmine a twenty-dollar bill. “Take your cell phone and call me if you need me.”

Jasmine kissed her mother on the cheek. “I won’t be gone long.”

“Have fun!” her mother called after her as she ran out the door.

Jasmine “If this is casual, why does it hurt so much?” Jasmine asked Zain as the taxi pulled up in front of the courthouse. Zain bites his lower lip, tears in his eyes. “We don’t have to do this. We can stay married and get a corm room together at USC.” “I know, but I don’t want to hold you back.” As tempted as that sounds, she could never forgive herself if he quits baseball to support a wife and family. “You’re not.” They had the same conversation for the last hour. And before that, every time one of them had brought it up. “Jasmine, we could rent a car and speak with the officials at USC when we get there.” He sighed, his eyes pleading. “then we can call our parents and let them know what’s going on.” She chuckled. “At least they would have a year to get over being mad at us.” Zain gave her a small, heartbreaking smile. “Or until Christmas.” “Let’s go.” Jasmine knew if they didn’t get out of the cab now, she’d take Zain up on his offer and have the cab driver take them to a

ZainSteam billowed around them like a warm, comforting blanket—a stark contrast to the chill of uncertainty that awaited outside the sanctuary they had created. Zain reached out, his fingers trailing through the condensation on the glass door before pulling it open. The sound of water rushing from the showerhead filled the space with a soothing rhythm, and he stepped inside, eager for the embrace of both the heat and his wife.Jasmine was already there, a vision of serenity beneath the cascade. Her skin, kissed by water droplets, glistened under the soft bathroom light. She turned toward him, her eyes locking with his with an intensity that spoke volumes of the wordless pact they’d made—to cherish these final moments before parting ways, before their love was tested by distance and time.“Hey,” Zain whispered, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips, inviting and genuine. His heart thrummed, a steady drumbeat syncing with the pitter-patter of water hitting the tile.“Hey,” Jasmine

  • Just One Weekend   Chapter 54: Sunrise

Zain Zain and Jasmine lay on the bed Sunday night, eating a pizza. They had take out sent in and hadn’t left their hotel room since they entered it. They were officially married now… no matter how long it lasted… and could do what they wanted for only a few more glorious hours. Zain’s heart sank, hating the thought of having to say goodbye to her the following day. He had waited for her his whole life. And now that he had found her, he wasn’t going to let her go. “Come with me to USC,” he breathed against her skin, the pizza forgotten. She rolled him over onto his back and lay across his chest, looking into his eyes. “Zain, we talked about this.” “I know, but we’ll have a whole year to figure something out.” He hated the thought of leaving her behind after graduation, but he hated the thought of losing her more. Jasmine kissed his chest, her beautiful brown hair fanned out over him, framing her gorgeous face. “Zain, I’m not going to hold you back—” “You won’t.” He bit his lower

Jasmine Jasmine's heart thundered, echoing the ripples of the satin sheets beneath them as they lay in each other’s arms. But the air felt heavier, as if soaked in anticipation of more to come. “How do you feel?” Zain pushed back her hair as he looked into her eyes, breathless, his eyes filled with concern. “I’m fine. Ready to go again?” Zain laughed. “I thought you’d never ask.” Zain sat up, bringing her with him as he held her in his arms, his lips descending upon hers in a passionate kiss. I’ve never felt this way before.” “Neither have I.” She hated herself for the thought but had to know. “Have you ever been in love before?” He sighed, lost in thought as his hard cock rubbed against her pussy lips, causing them to twitch. “I thought I had been in the past, but it was nothing like this. Now, I know that I’ve never truly loved anyone else before… not like this. Jasmine, no matter what happens between us, you’ll always be the one.” “Shush….” Jasmine gently pressed her finger

  • Just One Weekend   Chapter 52: Just the Beginning

Jasmine Zain swept Jasmine into his arms, and she nestled against his chest as he carried her to the bed, laying her down gently, lying over her, careful not to crush her. Zain pulled her close, his hands slowly moving over her trembling body as heat exploded under his touch. His hands were strong and gentle, exploring every inch of her as he kissed and massaged her breasts, licking and sucking, and then slid down her body to her stomach. He circled her navel with his tongue and then moved lower, wrapping his arms around her legs, guiding them over his shoulder. “Zain, I want you—” “Just relax,” he breathed, dangerously close to her heat but with a tenderness that made her ache deep within. She ran her fingers through his hair as he clenched the side of her panties with his teeth, pulled them down her legs, and then discarded them onto the floor. “You are one gorgeous woman,” he breathed as he looked into her eyes, reaching up to rub and massage her breasts. Jasmine nearly rose o

Jasmine “I’ll be right back.” Zain rose from his seat and headed straight for the counter. She took another gulp of her Margarita, letting the sweet liquid work its magic, relaxing her. Jasmine smiled as she watched Zain at the counter, guessing she opened her mouth too soon. Zain sat in front of her a moment later with a take-out container and set it to the side. “For when you’re ready to go.” She nodded, smiling as her nervousness threatened to return. “Let’s finish our drinks first, then we won’t have to leave our room the whole weekend.” He chuckled as he took another sip of his beer. “Are you sure you don’t want to see some sights while we’re here?” “The only thing they want to see is you naked on our bed.” Jasmine didn’t know where this sudden burst of courage had come from, but she liked it. It must have been the Margarita. Zain laughed, rolling his eyes. “You know how to make a man squirm. Don’t you?” “Let’s finish our drinks and get out of here.” She didn’t have to te
