We met with Arthur two days ago, and I am still processing what he told us. I was expecting the mystery person to be one of moms relatives, but I was not expecting it to be my grandmother and one of my aunts. Ironically the two mystery people that showed up with the lawyer are the same to that randomly showed up that day at mom and dads and made a huge scene. I am not sure what to think. I looked at mom, and she didn’t seem surprised at all. Everly and dad were on the way to the airport to pick up Gio. He finally got everything straightened out with his family. He said that his dad is doing good and should be getting out of the hospital in a couple more days. They wanted to make sure there were no other clots anywhere before they sent him home.

I am worried about Everly. She has been acting strange this last week. I know it has nothing to do with the pregnancy, so something else is happening. She doesn’t seem any more stressed than normal. Two more months is all I have left. Thank god, I am over being pregnant. I love my son and feel him move around, but my back is killing me. My feet hurt, and I feel like an overfilled water balloon. I am getting very worried that if he grows any more that I won’t be able to have him naturally. Aunt Lisa told me at my monthly appointment that everything was looking good. From her estimates, she says that he is 7lbs, maybe even a bit over that right now. Of course, that pushed me into overthinking mode. I shudder when I realize that if he gains a pound or more a month until I give birth, he could weigh 9lbs or more. There is no way I can push that out of my body. Three weeks is all we have left until our little man arrives. Aunt Lisa told us today that he could really arrive any day. I can tell that Everly is both excited and anxious. Honestly, I am feeling the same way. I still can’t believe that the birth of my son is that close. It seemed like yesterday when Everly walked into that meeting, and then I found out she was pregnant with my son. “You looked stressed,” Lance says. “I am not stressed. I let out a groan as I opened my eyes. The room was dimly lit, which I was thankful for. I looked at the wall, and it was plain white. I knew it wasn’t the room that I was being held in, but I had no idea where this room was. I could smell disinfectant and hear several different beeping sounds. One Year Later I had no idea that a toddler could move that fast. I am chasing Colton around the backyard. This little guy is quick. He is a year and a half now and growing like a weed. Everly and I got married six months ago, and everything has been great. Leaving him when we went on our honeymoon was hard, but I know he had a blast with his grandparents. He was thrilled when he got a set of golf clubs for Christmas. Dad and Aaron took him golfing when we were on our honeymoon; now, Colton is obsessed with it. He will actually sit there for hours and watch tournaments on tv. I will probably get him some golf lessons in a couple of years. He also loves hockey. That is thanks to Drew. Justin and Tristian. Those three are hockey fanatics and have taken Colton to several games. I laugh when I see Tianya and Kylynn walking over to where we are.
