Just when she thought she got this whole thing all figured out, karma had to come bite her right back in her ass.
"I'm familiar with that look." She heard Ace voice as he came into her line of sight.
She sighed and and ran her hand through her thick blonde curls. "I'm tired, Ace."
Ace chuckled. "We all get tired of lots of things one day or rather people."
She gave him an appraisal look, "And how do you know that?"
Ace chuckled once again, amusement shinning in his black orbs. "I know a lot of things, honey."
Shelly grimaced obviously irritated, "care to elaborate?"
"I'm not the problem here, love." Ace gave her a stare that reminded her of exactly what he was talking about.
"I need to talk to you. Is there any other place we can go?" She asked him, her eyes betraying a hint of... Was it sadness?
