Bailey looked at him and just knew everything that was in front of her. It was one of those moments that she had read about in books when the hero had confessed their love, and the female was left to think about it, but there was nothing to think about. Max had laid his heart at her foot, and she could either take it and deal with everything, or she could turn away.

She turned to look into his perfect sky blue eyes that she had known her entire life, and she smiled. She placed her forehead against his as she continued to smile. “If you are so willing to confess your love to me as easily as you did, why would you question me?”

“Bailey, I know you.” He replied.

“And I know you, Max.” She said with a small laugh. “Max, do you remember when I was like maybe five years old at the lake when our parents made us all go together, and we had the four cabins?”

“Yeah?” he chuckled with thinking
